Hello! I got a CJO from an airline this past summer for a part time gate agent position. Initially they were shooting for training starting during the summer. Unfortunately it got pushed back another 6 months. I work in a school and was planning to quit my job before school started to effectively work full time for the probation period. Given their pushback on training, I am now at a crossroads of possibly quitting halfway through the school year to start this gate agent job. I wanted to get some thoughts and advice from current gate agents on pros and cons of the job to make my decision wisely. I’m aware of a few but wanted to hear from some of you firsthand!
