My WhatsApp account keeps getting banned even after securing everything
Hi everyone,
I really need help because something very strange is happening with my WhatsApp account, and I can’t understand the cause anymore.
On May 17, someone used my WhatsApp account to send spam messages to international numbers (brazil). This happened only on my Mac desktop app (installed from the App Store). At the same time, I had WhatsApp open on my iPhone, but those spam messages did NOT appear on the iPhone, which means they were sent from a device/session I didn’t control.
On May 18, my access was restored.
Then on May 19, I was banned AGAIN; even though I was using WhatsApp only on my iPhone, with no other devices connected, and after enabling two-step verification and ending all active sessions.
I have NOT used WhatsApp on my Mac again since the first incident.
I did NOT share my verification code with anyone.
I did NOT install WhatsApp on any other device.
I did NOT click suspicious links.
I already contacted WhatsApp Support, but I’m still waiting for a response.
Any advice, similar experiences, or technical explanations would be extremely appreciated.
I’m honestly worried and confused at this point.
My whatsapp is for personal use and not business. I have had this account for over 6 years.
