I must first say, i only had this PC for 3 years and have few experience with taking care of PC.
Recently i gone through ocurrences of my pc freezing screen suddenly and not coming back until pc was shut down and turned on again.
It has a HOF edition of the GTX 970, which, if i understanded correctly, mean it's around 12 years old.
Some of the conditions i noticed while trying to open a game were:
Temperature climbing from 40C to 80C.
Those image freezes.
And on this last ocasion i noticed a small screech when the temperature climbed.
I do plan to send it to make a general revision and change the termal paste, but i would also like to get some insights on it if possible.
