PSA Gradation Europe

Bonjour !

PSA Grading from Europe

Hi everyone!

I have around 70 One Piece/Pokémon cards I want to send in for PSA grading, but I’d really appreciate your advice on the best option.

I’m based in France, and right now the only straightforward way to submit to PSA is through a TCG shop or reseller that acts as an intermediary. The downside is the extra fees on top, plus quite long turnaround times since the cards are usually shipped to the US.

However, I’ve heard that PSA is supposed to open a facility in Germany around July, which could change things a lot for European collectors. I’m not sure yet whether direct submissions will be possible or if we’ll still need to go through an intermediary.

Another option: I’m going to Japan later this year for about a month, so I was thinking I could submit the cards there. I’ve heard PSA turnaround times in Japan can be faster, but I’m not sure how the return shipping works, especially since it may require a Japanese address.

So in your opinion, what would be the best option?

- Send them now through a French intermediary
- Wait for PSA Germany to open
- Wait for my trip to Japan and submit them there

If anyone has experience submitting to PSA from Europe or Japan, I’d really appreciate your insights!

BGS 9.5 to PSA 10 Attempt — What Do You Think?

Hi, I would have liked to get your opinion about this card from BGS. It was originally graded a 9.5, which I cracked open hoping to get a PSA 10 afterwards. However, I noticed a small holographic dot on the purple strip. What do you think? Thank you very much. (I know the way I’m holding the card is probably going to attract some criticism haha.)

Hello, I recently purchased this card on eBay it’s a significant investment. I know some people will say I should have done more checks before buying, but the auction was about to end (and I can still return the card), and I thought the BGS reference number was enough.

After doing some research, I realized that’s not necessarily the case and that fake BGS slabs do exist. So I’d really appreciate your opinions on both the slab and the card. Thank you very much! (The reference number is valid.)
