Claude Opus 5.5 directed a 5-minute AI short film off one prompt in ComfyUI

View on YouTube: https://youtu.be/MdFKJSXJeL4

I gave Claude read-only access to my ComfyUI nodes and Video Builder, and it made a 5½-minute short film from one prompt.

I gave Claude one prompt: Create a ~5 min creepy short film about AI going rogue. I asked for it to use Z-Image to create the character and locaton ref images and MiniMax H3 with **built-in audio** for the video, all made using my Video Builder. Then I went to bed.

**Claude made everything:**
the story, characters and dialogue; the character and location images; all 45 scene prompts; a 3-cue score with MiniMax Music 3; and the final edit.

**What it used:**
 my custom nodes were
**read-only**
, so it could read and call them but not change anything. It created a project folder to store everything it created along with notes and a full readme with its full process. It chose my Video Builder's own Z-Image and MiniMax H3 2-pass routes, its latent continuation to keep characters in place across cuts, and its stitch for the edit. It also set up Whisper and voice analysis to check its own renders and re-roll bad takes. So it would actaully review each scene after it was rendered and if it found issues it would re make the prompt and re-run it till it looked good.

**After that**
I just watched the preview and had Claude make edits (some examples): someone looking at the camera instead of the kid, cloned faces in a crowd, a character teleporting between scenes, a mouth moving when it shouldn't. Claude fixed them all.

**H3 tips it figured out:**
- Tags like `<pause>` sometimes get spoken out loud. `<breath>` works.
- "Soft" or "gentle" wording can flip a male voice to female.
- Give each silent character their own "lips pressed together" line.

All rendered locally, about 8–10 minutes per scene. Happy to answer questions!

Note: I did bring the final edit into Capcut and Added a color filter overlay and one transition to one spot. That is the ONLY post that I added.

Free open source Topaz alternative - SeedVR2+TensorRT faster VAE Processing.

Local, GPU-accelerated video restoration and upscaling with SeedVR2, TensorRT, and a purpose-built browser interface.

VRGDG SeedVR2 TensorRT Studio turns the SeedVR2 pipeline into a practical Windows workflow: load a video, test a short preview, compare the result frame by frame, and complete long renders with resumable checkpoints. Processing stays on your machine.

Highlights

  • Fast local restoration — SeedVR2 inference with TensorRT-accelerated VAE decoding on supported NVIDIA RTX GPUs. TensorRT allows much faster processing than standard SeedVR2.
  • Fast 2K upscaling — As a real-world example, an 8-second clip took approximately 8 minutes to upscale and enhance to 2K on an NVIDIA RTX 5090 using the largest 7B Sharp FP16 model. Render times vary with source resolution, frame rate, settings, and available VRAM.
  • Preview before committing — render a short segment, then inspect Original, Restored, Compare, or Side by side views.
  • Long-render recovery — save completed chunks and continue from the first unfinished chunk after an interruption.
  • Practical output controls — choose resolution, aspect policy, model precision, temporal batch, seed, and color correction.
  • Non-destructive finishing — reprocess sharpening, grain, seam smoothing, and optional skin finishing without rerunning restoration.
  • Project-based history — reopen previous outputs and keep media, manifests, and logs together under outputs\.

The sample video was org 360p and then upscaled to 2K using this app. 8 second video, took about 8 mins on my 5090.

MiniMax H3 first test using it inside my Video builder. One shot music video

This was a super-fast test after adding support for it inside my ComfyUI video builder.
I spent maybe 30 minutes of my own time on this and also recorded the process which added time as well.
Then I let the builder run overnight and woke up to this video. (render time was about 2 1/2 hours) It's not perfect because I did not really put much effort into it as it was only a test. The song was created in Suno, but I did write the lyrics myself. I'm not a writer and just put the song together really fast. Again, it was just a test.
if you want more info on the process and the video builder, please join my discord - its free and open source. FYI

go to introductions and ping me in there. I'm vrgamedevgirl.

Please keep comments respectful. I'll be ignoring hateful comments.

watch full walk through here - keep in mind I did go back and change a few things because I found bugs i needed to fix so ended up creating background images too and changing the camera and character motion down to 5 strength and turned off easy cache and used 1.2 MP and then let it go overnight. https://youtu.be/vL-8jPFg9c8

Some Music videos I created using my LTX 2.3 Video builder in ComfyUI.

Just sharing a few music videos, I created using My LTX 2.3 video builder. Took me a little less than 1 day to make each of these. I know they are by far not perfect, but they were fun to make. Made the songs in Suno 5.5. I'll be adding the new MiniMax H3 model to my video builder today if all goes well with that roll out.

LTX 2.3 Video Builder UI for ComfyUI - High Level Beta Overview

Video is here in case it hasn't fully loaded yet

Quick high-level overview of my Video Builder for ComfyUI, currently in beta testing.

This does not cover everything, since there are a lot of features, but it highlights some of the most important parts.

This started as a continuation of my earlier node-based music video workflows for ComfyUI. Now, the builder provides a full UI that runs those workflows in the background while adding many more tools for scene-by-scene video creation.

In the video, I quickly show:

  • The main Video Builder UI
  • The Wizard workflow
  • Lyric mapping, transcription, and timing options
  • Reference Builder
  • Storyboard Builder
  • Text-to-image options
  • Video modes, including:
    • Image-to-video
    • Reference-to-video
    • Ingredients-to-video
    • Text-to-video
  • LLM options for prompt creation
  • Building and stitching a final video

Even though some parts are still named around music videos, the builder is not only for music videos.

It can also be used for:

  • Short films
  • Non-vocal videos
  • Visualizers
  • Story scenes
  • Scene-based AI video projects

You can still almost fully automate a video inside the builder for a faster workflow, but the UI also gives you much more control for scene-by-scene editing.

You can let the system handle most of the process, or you can fine-tune individual scenes, prompts, references, timing, images, and video clips as much as you want.

Krea 2 Enhancer LoRa

Krea 2 Enhancer LoRA

Enhancer LoRA for the new Krea 2 text-to-image model.

Designed to improve image quality across any style, including realistic, cinematic, anime, illustration, fantasy, product, portrait, and stylized images. It helps add cleaner detail, sharper textures, better lighting, and a more polished final look while keeping your original prompt style intact.

A workflow is included to help you get started quickly.

All example images were created using that workflow.

Before leaving rude comments please just test the LoRa yourself, and see the before and after shot below - you can clearly see it sharpens the image and adds extra details and removes some blur.

Workflow and Lora can be found here

This was my first Krea2 lora and I re-used my dataset that I had used to create my LTX 2.3 Enhancer loRa - it was more of a test but ended up working well for me so I decided to share it with the community (for free) So please be kind....

In this walkthrough, I show how the workflow takes a song, analyzes the timing, creates scene prompts from lyrics, and generates a finished music video using LTX 2.3.

The walkthrough video is too long to share in here so please go watch on YouTube: HERE

The workflow is split into two parts.

🎵 Workflow 1 handles audio upload, beat detection, scene timing, lyrics, style and theme, story idea, subjects and locations, and prompt generation.

🎬 Workflow 2 handles the actual video generation, including an image-to-video with zImage Turbo and LTX 2.3 workflow, and a text-to-video with LTX, LoRa workflow that both have advanced prompt controls, scene generation, Remake Mode, and final video stitching.

✨ This workflow is designed to reduce manual setup time while still giving you control over style, characters, camera motion, timing, seeds, LoRas, and final edits.

💡 For the best results, I recommend starting with the default settings first, then experimenting with LoRas, seeds, advanced settings, and Remake Mode as you get more comfortable.

⚙️ Requirements:
ComfyUI
LTX 2.3 models
Z-Image Turbo model
FFmpeg installed for audio stitching
My vrgamedevgirl custom nodes
Impact Pack custom node for auto-queue
llama-cpp-python

At least 16gb of VRAM - 12 "might" work but I have not tested it.
