Spent the last while building a new trading strategy paired with an AI predictor for Nasdaq 100 names. Just finished a 1-year sim (2025-01 → 2026-01, $2K starting capital) and figured I'd share before I take it live.

Headline numbers:

• +158.96% total return ($2,000 → $5,179)
• 61 trades, win rate 52.46%, avg P/L per trade +4.55%
• Max drawdown 9.19%, peak $5,447
• Avg hold 16.5 days, fund deployment 91.28% across the window
• TP / SL / Expired split: 16 / 26 / 19 (so most exits are stops or expiries, not TPs — the winners are doing the heavy lifting)
• Circuit breaker: 3 consecutive SLs → 5-day cooldown. Fired 4 times, paused trading ~9.6% of the window.
