Is this a scam?
Hi, I'm trying to sell my ticket on Carousell. This is my first time selling on this platform so I am somewhat inexperienced.
The seller intends to purchase it through Carousell, and soon, there was an email with a link telling me to log in to one of my banks, as well as a verification on my app with a transaction. It says the transaction is not real but merely part of the verification process, but the money on the verification is too big to make me think twice.
The buyer also got very impatient all of a sudden. Here's the chat log:
2:59 (Buyer) ：Payment done. Check your email and click "Confirm Order"
3:00 (Me)：Noted, give me a minute.
3:00 (Buyer) ：Okay, let me know when you're done
3:11 (Buyer)：[Attachment with notification about order, saying "we have detected the seller has left the page and not completed the process"] WHY? Are you trying to trick me? Quit closing the page! You need to follow the instructions right now
3:12 (Me)：No, I am opening the page now.
3:13 (Buyer)：I was told that you haven't confirmed the verification push notification. Why????
3:14 (Me)：Yes, I'm in the bank page, but I wanted to switch to a different bank. The notification keeps popping up when I want to switch banks.
3:15 (Buyer)：You need to follow the technical support instructions
Can anyone tell me if this is a scam?
