My wife and I have sex once a month after being married a year. Is this normal?
I want help navigating this so her and I can both have a good sex life in our marriage tl;dr
My wife deals with issues getting in the mood. She never wants to when I come on to her. I know she tries but even times where we do have sex there are times her body kinda shuts off and gets out of the mood midway. I like wanting to be wanted when it comes to sex and we just end up stopping both being unsatisfied. It’s happened a lot in our 5 years of being together. She has had SA trauma in the past as well as takes medication that affects her drive whe I absolutely take into consideration and sympathize with her about these things because they shouldn’t have happened to her. I want to get her some counseling to help deal with this. We are very intimate outside of sexually as well like nights at the bar with friends, picnics, flowers, and trips. I try to woo her best I can romantically though it usually never leads to anything in bed.
