Raspberry Pi as a DSP
I have been looking into using a Raspberry Pi 5 as a DSP for my car. Currently I have a Dayton Audio DSP-408 but its an absolute piece of junk that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, alternator whine, popping sounds, the app is barely usable and the Bluetooth dongle doesn't even work for streaming so I have to use an external BT receiver. I gave a good bit of experience with Raspberry Pis and love the EasyEffects app which seems to have all the required settings like time alignment, EQ and a ton more. So my question is does anyone happen to have experience with using a Raspiaudio 8 channel HAT? I have a 4 channel amp for my door and deck speakers and a 2/1 channel amp for my sub so 8 outputs would be plenty. How is the sound quality and are there any obvious issues with this setup? I have a small touchscreen and a portable keyboard I could leave in the car if I want to tune it or I could use remote desktop from my phone.
