Beauty of Portuguese Central

These are from Labruja Hills, the hardest way up on Portuguese Central. It is also one of the reasons I prefer this on the Coastal one.

Invertebrado no parque da Cantareira - SP

Nunca vi nada parecido com isso. É fase da vida de alguma coisa, tipo uma lagarta? Tem um dedo no final do vídeo para escala.

Foncebadón

On French, you find a lovely medieval village after the cutest walk up the mountain (yes, I know and love O Cebreiro. Fondebadón is several days before). There you can find Taberna de Gaia, an unique medieval style restaurant. Spend a little money there and try their deer stew. It is amazing.

(Last picture is not mine, but it can be useful for those who want to find the place)

On landscapes of Portuguese Coastal

When you walk coastal from Porto, you have the beautiful landscape of the sea for a few consecutive days. Always. Same mood. Annoying cold wind on the left ear. Damn wooden fences keeping you inside Disneyland and out of local daylife. But after that you get into some lovely woods and it is a welcome relief.

Castro near A Guarda

On Portuguese Coastal, for those who will walk through A Guarda, I recomend an aditional effort to reach this pre-roman fortified village, few kilometers from the town. It is called Castro Romariz.
