Offered Lv3 Position but unsure about the level of responsibility matching pay.

I was recently offered a Decant Supervisor role (Level 3 Retail Team Member) after proving that I’m trustworthy and reliable in the workplace. Before accepting the role, I made it clear that one of my main conditions was remaining on a casual rate. As a casual, I would earn around $34 per hour before 6 PM and $41 per hour after 6 PM.

However, my GM later suggested that I consider moving to part-time instead. So, of course, I do my research, and I found out my pay would change to $27 per hour before 6 PM and $34 per hour after 6 PM. This honestly makes me uncomfortable because when my GM brought it up, and explained that I would be "earning the same" overall, just with added benefits.

The issue is that I know myself well enough to push through sick days as they're usually minor, so paid sick leave is not a major factor for me. On top of that, the level of responsibility that comes with supervising the Decant team can already be stressful, especially when the team lack focus and self-driven goals, they simply to clock in and out - not my type of party.

I understand the value of annual leave and sick leave, but I don’t see Kmart as a long-term career path for myself. Because of that, I’m struggling to see whether moving to part-time is actually worth it over staying casual. From my perspective, the added responsibility doesn't match the said benefits.

I also feel that those “benefits” are more about security and stability, which doesn’t really affect me because I’ve always had a strong work ethic and consistently exceeded expectations. My managers clearly recognise that, which is why I’ve been appreciated and trusted with more responsibility in the first place.

So I'm basically asking, what would you do?

I bought a Kagurabachi box from Amazon, only for it to be cancelled with no explanation. After contacting support, I was told I could reorder through another seller (which ended up being the same seller), but I had to pay double. I was assured I’d be refunded the price difference as credit.

Shortly after, the same Kagurabachi set went back on sale from that seller on Amazon US. I complained about how ridiculous the situation was, given how quickly everything happened, and received an additional $40 credit—though it could only be used on Amazon AU.

After weeks of waiting, I finally received the booster box and was excited to open it. Right away, I noticed a seal underneath the box, which seemed odd (see image). As I opened it, I realised the top two packs had been re-sealed, while the rest were already opened, with each pack missing 1–3 cards.

All that time and frustration, just to receive a tampered box from a trillion-dollar company—unbelievable.

TL;DR: Order got cancelled for no reason, had to pay more to reorder, and the box that finally arrived was already opened and re-sealed.
