Just like the title what are your current Kmart faves to get? Would love to know any hidden gems people have found.

I recently got the Kmart Barrel Leg Trackpants and they're so comfy. I do think they should've been about $15 instead of $20 but I guess cos it's a trending item the price makes sense.

this is going to sound silly, but when i first started the fitting rooms shift, I was told to ignore the phone when it calls, and again a couple of weeks ago, (one time i answered it because I wasn't sure what to do then I panicked and got others to help at the time and they told me to ignore it then too) last week a woman who works there (not a manager) told me that I should answer the phone, I mentioned it to her that I was told by someone else to ignore it, and she was okay with that and went on with whatever she did. I have seen 3 number codes and some names on a sheet of paper nearby, with managers listed and contact details for customer care etc. I guess what I'm asking is, if someone is asking a question that's got nothing to do with the fitting rooms, or clothes etc or something I'm confused about, do I use the codes to redirect them? would I need to press anything to do that? I'm scared to answer the phone and get a customer upset because I'm not sure what I'm doing? Do i have to tell someone that I'm redirecting a phone call?

All advice is appreciated, thank you for taking the time to read my post!! I hope it makes sense, I just don't really know what I'm doing as I was told two different things?

Hi everyone, lowkey just here to rant quickly lol. My Kmart lately has been taking away a lot of our shifts and offering them to everyone else as open. It happened to my coworker last night but she managed to claim the shift before anyone else so ended up working anyway. It has happened to me and my partner and several other coworkers recently. Not only do they take it from us, but they aren’t giving us any type of notice or anything. Just removing it from our roster and not saying anything. This is so frustrating! Multiple of us have brought it up to managers but it keeps happening. Surely this cant be right! If we dont check our rosters daily, we would have no idea.

How do i apply for a job at k mart i want to work from August should i start applying now.

I bought a phone tripod about 2 weeks ago. Today, I was about to set it up for the first time and 1 of the 3 legs just came off. It’s not a screw on or anything like that so it’s broken now.

Can I get an exchange without the receipt??

I returned two things almost 5 weeks and didn't receive my refund. I must have complained on every single platform and I'm either ignored or told it's processing. I've reported them to fair trading now and will contact my bank over it, but keen to see if this is a problem for others?

So , Im talking ten years ago .

I had taken a month or so off( ny husband waa having major heart surgery ( stressful time for him of course, and worrying for both of us).

Anyway , the first shift I had after going back was in the chaotic time when the whole store was being rearranged ( registers being moved to the centre, departments were in completely different places etc)

I was based in the fitting room, and even the phone system had changed , ( cant remember exactly, but different to what it had been wuth incoming calls etc )as well as the new earphone thing to communicate with other staff.( do they still have that, I hated it ) ?

I had to ask other staff where things were if a customer asked me ( because as I said, everyrhing was in rhe process of being moved)

It waa just so stressful that so many changes were happening.

To top it off, as if to 'test me' the department manager came to me and asked where the hangers were ?

I was a bit confused and thought she meant tbe box of hangers in the cupboard thing ( in the ftting room ), but no , she was ' testing' to see if I knew wherw they would be in the rearranged store ( I would have known in the past, but because I'd only been there an hour or so, I didnt know

I just left afrer the shift and never went back,

I went home and cried because I felt so awful, because I was so stressed out.

I know it sounds silly, but I had ( have) anxiety and it was just all too much..

Anyone get snacks from kmart? I've seen a lot of candy and chips on the Kmart site. Wondering if anyone has any favourites or recommendations from there.

I applied at this retail to quit my main job (fast food). I’ve only been in this job for a month and a half but I kinda find it depressing even though the workload interests me. I keep asking for shifts and more hours and I’ve been texting our store manager about my concern and also wanting to be full time worker because i need the shift and the money but i never get a response. I get that it’s not just me who need the hours but I don’t really want to text the other managers just for them to pass the message to her. I’m just frustrated because looking for a job is hard enough let alone a full time one. Retail work is depressing.

About to have my first 11 hour shift does anyone know what the breaks are like for that I’m 19 if that changes anything
