Anyone know why they discontinued the world’s best non stick fry pan??

Anyone know why they discontinued the world’s best non stick fry pan??

I went to buy my pans as I do after months and months of them being abused by my for teenagers and discovered not only are they out of stock, Choice confirms they are now discontinued!?!? I loved these pans and bought them often and for others.

Does Kmart actually review applications in order or is it completely random?

Applied online weeks ago, did the one way video interview where you awkwardly talk to your front facing camera for a few minutes, then heard absolutely nothing after that. Meanwhile a mate applied for the exact same casual pool and got offered shifts within four days.

Can I take this product back for a refund/exchange?

So my daughter is toilet training. I bought a pack of the toilet training undies for her. She’s size 2 so I grabbed that size. Took them home and washed them and saw the tag said Size 1-2. I tried them on her and they were too small.

I went back and purchased the size 3 (which is labeled size 2-3 on the inside tag). Washed them and put them on her today and noticed they were just as small on her.

I lay them against the smaller pair, stretched out the elastics etc and they were identical size!

Can I take my second purchased pair back to Kmart to exchange them for an actual bigger size? Even though I have washed them?

Thank you.

Average Shift Times

I’ve just started at Kmart. Is there a general rule of length of shift or number of shifts when starting? Also if you wanting to go part time do you get more hours? And do you need to wait a certain amount of time to be asked?

I’m thinking of looking for a second job as I need more hours and I will also speak to the managers as well. But just wanted general feedback on hours at Kmart and how they spread them out.

Best Smart Watch for the value

Just wanted to post how impressed I am for this smart watch from Kmart. The value for money. It works perfectly and seems to be accurate. The response is perfect, battery last for ages, has a speaker. Honestly can’t complain for the value of money. $40. Does everything a iPhone watch does! 10/10.

Has anyone actually bought a flatpack desk and had it survive?

Looking at the basic flatpack options for a study setup, but the display model in store was already wobbling significantly just from someone leaning on it. Wondering if it is worth the stress of assembly

Refresh help

Hey everyone, so I’m struggling quite a bit with refresh in kids world. I’ve had 4 shifts so far on refresh and my first shift someone ran it down to me quickly. I’ve done presentation mostly in kids for a while and I do okay but when it’s really messy I struggle.

So I’m having trouble getting through the whole area and I’ve really only done 1 full lap because I finish my lap in kids clothing then get asked to do tables and that’s the last thing I usually do before my returns. I start in sporting area then activewear, toys, nursery, party then kids clothing. Then when you put in phone calls, helping customers, help in bike area then sometimes price checks, it becomes a lot and time just seems to disappear.

There’s just a lot of returns mainly in toys so when I’m picking so many up it takes time. I don’t even know how many laps I’ve actually supposed to do and when do I call for a priority? The refresh/pres manager knows I’m fairly new to refresh but she seemed like annoyed the other night when I was halfway through the shift (the whole shift is 3hours) and I just finished my first lap. But on weekends im doing 3.5 hours in refresh so hopefully that will help.

This is very long but I just need some advice on how I can do better and quicker!

Help with a Kmart Air Fryer

I've never used an air fryer so hoping for some feedback.

Bought a Kmart air fryer last week, washed the tray/rack and wiped the inside before use. Have used it about 4 times. I've noticed:

- plastic smell when using

- very slight plastic taste on food

- used it earlier today to roast some veggies and noticed some plastic smelling stuff seeping out the sides (video 1)

- took the tray out and it looks like this (video 2 - can't attach more than one video, so will post a screengrab in comments)

Is this normal? Does it go away? Does it mean this item is faulty? What do I do 🤕

EDIT: Thanks for the feedback, I'm taking it back today and am replacing it with a more reliable brand. I'd wanted to buy a cheapy first to see if I would end up using it. I reckon I will, so I found another brand on special.

Why does Kmart refuse to let us leave reviews on the website?

It would save everyone so much time if we could see which cheap appliances actually work and which ones die after two uses

online shopping and customer service is a fucking joke

Tried to place an order on their website, says error charging my card.

went to my bank account and saw them charge me 4 times

no email i can contact, live chatbot wont let you chat with any real person either just kept prompting you for unrelated stuff.

Tried calling and requested call back, first time i missed and they didn't call again, which is whatever.
called again and requested again, they called back, didn't say anything and hung up.

Amazing, calling back and hang up just to show your manager that you've "indeed called"

thanks for the reminder why i stopped shopping here and killed my will to ever shop here ever again.

Manager exposed 30+ team member phone numbers in a group chat for the "Your Voice" survey. Am I overreacting?

Hey guys, looking for some perspective on a workplace situation.

Today, my store management team sent out a reminder to complete the "Your Voice" survey before it closes tomorrow (May 18th). For context, I’m permanent part-time and already did it days ago, so the reminder wasn't even relevant to me.

The problem is how they sent it. Instead of using a standard bulk SMS system, the managers created a massive group text with me and over 30 other team members to drop a photo of the QR code.

Because of this:

My personal mobile number has been broadcast to dozens of coworkers without my consent.

Everyone else's contact info is completely exposed, too.

I’m honestly quite annoyed about this breach of privacy and I’m seriously considering taking this straight to Advisory. Am I blowing this out of proportion, or is this a massive red flag?

LET US LEAVE REVIEWS ALREADY please 😭

It's actually so fucked that it's impossible to review products you bought in store. Anyway the $5.50 pill container is pretty good but don't let it touch anything or the markings will transfer. The colours are in a stupid order too but I can deal with that.

Unable to attend shift

I am currently unwell and I have a shift on tomorrow, I've already texted my managers today which is sunday who have previously texted me regarding something else, but I haven't heard back from them but should I call the store up in the morning? My shift tomorrow isn't until 2pm, I am feeling guilty i texted them instead of calling the store.

Thank you in advance

Interview

So I got an email today asking me to schedule an interview after I applied about 2 weeks ago so I’ve kinda got a fe questions (sorry) I’ve seen a few people on here mention group interviews, how do I know if it’s a group interview or not? All I really know is that it’s a 15min interview. Also what should I wear and how can I be prepared for it like what questions would they ask? Also note that I’m a junior, I also have a job at the moment but didn’t need an interview so this is my first interview. Thanks :)

Door shifts as a PWD

Does anyone else with a disability feel stuck? I’m a wheelchair user and I’m tired of being relegated to the door when I know I can do so much more. I've worked here for years and haven't been given a real opportunity to progress. Despite speaking to managers and submitting feedback via 'Your Voice,' nothing has changed. I want to contribute more to the store and the company. Constant door shifts are draining my mental health. Am I the only one who feels this way?
