Does anyone work at a store with a *good* CL/SM?

I’ve been at my store for 5 years and 4 acting CLs (soon to be 3 official CLs) and they have all genuinely sucked. And I don’t mean this as a personal beef, I mean they either can’t write schedules, can’t stay organized with time off/staffing/meetings/PRCS/etc or are horribly aggressive to their baristas and management team. Now our DM is writing schedules for us while we wait for our new CL and he has been micromanaging our floors and giving us ridiculous new standards to follow (ALL BREAKS, yes, 10s and 30s, ran before peak, for example). I know my scope is a little limited but I’m starting to wonder if a good manager is a rare thing. So I’m just curious!
