Hi, am I being sensitive if the guy I’m talking to says “he’ll beat me up” as a joke? I am 25F and he’s M35.
The title is pretty much it. I’m 25F and he’s 35M. I know he’s joking, (right?), but there’s also many horror stories about dating guys and I don’t wanna be super chronically online either. I’m not sure if I want to mention to him that it makes me uncomfortable or even if I do mention it, he will just hide a side of himself from me. I’m not sure what to do.
We’ve only met recently too, about a month ago as well, through a mutual friend. What do you think? We aren’t exclusive, we are only talking and going with the flow for now .
He’s only said that when I’m being annoying ig or changing my mind what do you think? Thanks for your time.
Edit: I told him I don’t like that joke, he apologized and said I could beat him up. And said “never in a million years would he mean it” I happened right before I made this post.
