Hey guys, if anyone knows regarding my question, can you clarify?
I was planning on buying the glasses in the US as it's considerably cheaper than in Europe. But I realise now that the warranty is only 1 year if I buy it in the US. It's not a complete no for me but would I still be able to use the 1 year warranty in Europe? Would I have to take them back to the US for repairs and stuff?
I'm looking to buy the G2 mainly for the purpose of live translation of speech around me. I live in the netherlands and really want to learn the language quickly. How is the latency on the translation? Is the translation only by subtitles or even voice translation via earphones?
Do you think its a good decision to buy it just for the sake of the translation feature? I would be thankful for experiences from someone who bought them. Also is it possible to block updates or retain features from earlier updates as I dont wanna be in a situation where the update fucks up everything and I cant use them again.
Laptop decided to wipe the SSD clean in the 10 min I stepped aside while I was working. Went to my unis IT desk. Said no data can be recovered. Thankfully working data is saved on drive but a lot of personal data was lost. Again should be recoverable by going on different websites but I basically lost everything as I last backed up in November. FML
