Creatista Pro Static Shocks While Steaming
So I'm on my second nespresso creatista pro now because the first one had this issue, and lo and behold, this one does too! Sometimes when I touch the steam pitcher during or even after frothing, I get a static-like shock in my fingertips. It's a single snap and does not usually reoccur upon touching it again right after, although sometimes it does. This is not 100% repeatable but it happens more often than not. I have it plugged into a grounded 120V US outlet (tested with receptacle tester) and a GFCI grounded outlet as well in another room and it has not tripped, but the same issue continued. If I touch the body of the machine it has shocked on occasion. This does NOT happen when pulling espresso. It's not tingly or painful but it is startling and very annoying. Any tips on how I can fix this? I hope this is just me being a static magnet and not a machine issue because the same thing happening on 2 machines back to back would be wild.
