So I’m new to Nespresso and just got the Vertuo Up machine! I love how it looks and seems easy to clean so far. I put in the NOLA blend pod as I’m a cold brew lover and it came out kinda bitter and not as smooth as I would’ve liked.
Any tips or favorite recipes y’all have?
Feel free to give any recs for other pods to try as well! I also got the Double Espresso Yuzu Vanilla and Starbucks Double Espresso pods to start me off.
Checked the app around 7 am and it was available. I hope it’s not terrible.
Nespresso has a deal today that doesn’t suck! I have a vertuo so one free sleeve of intenso and scuro is great considering it’s usually one golden vanilla and golden caramel or something disgusting like that lol, great day to replenish!! ☕️
Loving it so far! My first order with my machine I got Orafio and Diavolitto (which I love so far). Putting in a second order and I'm excited to try some pods that seemed to be pretty loved in this community lol.
Hi, I’m new to the Nespresso community and was wondering if the vertuo plus is a good starter machine? Or should I get the vertuo pop+ deluxe? Both are currently on sale on Amazon Canada for $99 so debating which one to get! TIA!!!
Hi guys, my mother and her partner have been using my machine and now the lever won’t come back down. The pod recipient was very full and they forced it down (they say they didn’t but I managed to unstuck a pod that looked VERY strangely shaped…). Once I got that pod removed, I thought it’d be all good but the lever just won’t close. Any ideas? I really cannot afford a new machine and I really liked this one ☹️
Just curious, what are you guys doing with the French lavender decaf “over ice”? I tried making an iced coffee in the evening but it was so watery.
Are you guys drinking this pod hot instead of over ice? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Hey guys. What are the best pods (and potentially syrups) to make an iced vanilla latte? I have the Nespresso vertuo machine and typically I just mix my Chiaro pods with planet oat oatmilk and call it a day but lately they’ve just been lacking excitement for me lol. I need some recommendations to enlighten my morning coffee. Thanks!
Will entertain offers. :)
* Gingerbread and peppermint are no longer available.
* raspberry is no longer available.
I have a Nespresso C113 machine that I descaled this morning.
The descaling appeared to be successful, I ran the water/descale mix through twice, then ran two full containers of fresh water through, and put the machine back to normal mode.
When I now go to use it the two buttons light up as I would expect, when I press the 'long' button it flashes as expected, but the water pump never starts and after about the 6 seconds the light stops flashing.
I've unplugged it for about an hour, then after plugging it back in I press one of the buttons to wake it up, the buttons flash for several seconds (I assume while warming up) and then go solid, but when I press one of the buttons the machine makes no noise, the button I pressed flashes for 6 seconds, and then returns to two solid lights.
I did put it back into descale mode (hold buttons for 5 seconds until they start rapidly flashing) but in this mode the long button does not start the descale process when I press it. When I put it back into normal mode I have the same issue with the pump just not running.
Have I killed my coffee machine, or is there something else I can try?
sincerely, a chronic indecisive gal who doesn’t want to get too much of something she won’t like on her first order so instead she’s buying 1 of each of her options 😅 (assuming it’s better to just try 1 of each on my first run rather than get 2 sleeves of something right off the bat?)
Hi!
My vertuo machine died and my wife insisted on changing to the pixie because of the capsule cost. Admittedly I just trusted her decision. I agreed because I want her to use it more, though in the primary user.
Well it’s been a few days and I feel like it takes watered down. I was also surprised by the quantity of the coffee. I wasn’t expecting the pods to all be Nespresso. I’m thinking about returning the machine for a vertuo machine.
Has anyone made the switch and liked the originals machines better ?
Does anyone else feel like the coffee tastes watered down ?
Thanks!
My old Nespresso machine died this past weekend so I ordered the Vertuo Pop and it doesn’t fit tall cups like a travel mug. It only seems to allow regular sized coffee mugs.
Does anyone know if there is a stand or something you can buy that would raise the machine up high enough to permit a taller cup?
Hey, everyone I am getting a gift for my mom. She loves coffee, but she is definitely not into fancy machines where you froth your own milk. She has a Krups Dolce Gusto Picolo. I want to get her an upgrade. What advice you have for a machine that can give her better quality coffee but also be able to have milk coffees?
I have a Plus at home that I absolutely adore. Got it in December and it’s the greatest thing since the discovery of coffee. I recently picked up a used Next on marketplace to put in the camp trailer…just because I’m camping doesn’t mean I’m giving up my Nespresso! This last weekend I got to officially use it for the first time and…wow. It’s kind of a pain. I love the one touch open/close of my Plus, so when I had to thunk the top down and hold it while wrenching the lock into place? Talk about roughing it! Are they all that tough to close and lock? Also, it only picked up and discarded the used pod about 10% of the time. Maybe it’s an old model, but it really was clunky and not fun to use (but still made coffee, so yay). Why they discontinued the Plus is beyond me! Tell me what you love about the machine you have, even if it’s a Next!
My machine is Vertuo Plus, those pods could not fit.
I know this might sound so stupid, but I am used to drinking instant coffee, I drank it every morning, and I decided to get a Nespresso original machine thinking the coffee would be better tasting, but it turned out bitter, even the coffee pods labeled 4 intensity, and 5 intensity. Is that normal, and does the bitterness goes away with time, cuz I enjoy the simplicity of making a coffee instantly at the comfort of my desk, and it comes out at the right drinking temperature.
if you have any information, or tips regarding this I would greatly appreciate it
