Hello! I was recently gifted a Vertuo Pop+ and looking for suggestions on which pods to get/recipes to make.

I decided it was time for a real treat. I pulled out all the No. 20 I have from the vault. I initially had 7 or so boxes of the Vertuo Line and 4 Original Line boxes. Now I’m down to 3 full boxes of VL and almost 2 full boxes of the OL. The coffee is simply exquisite. Not everyone’s favourite, I’m sure. It has a bit of fruitiness to it, but in a good way. The notes are complex. I should never had extracted the blend in such a wide cup, but it was a change from the usual Riedel Tasting Glasses I use for special blends (too lazy to bring them out from storage). The coffee is not flavoured, but the way they made this coffee made the flavour profile what it is. Black Magic is what it is. The coffee lingered for a bit in the mouth, but not too long. I liken it to hitting a lower mid-tone on a grand piano and letting it reverberate. Slow decay of a gorgeous sound.
I added half a packet of Nespresso Brown Sugar. The coffee opened up. Orange Blossom - they weren’t kidding. Not overpowering, but noticeable. Did I mention complex? I then added a few drops of evaporated milk. It was a very nice addition. As black, this coffee is very good. It’s the kind of coffee you don’t gulp down. Sip and enjoy every moment kind of coffee. At nearly $5.00 a capsule, that’s like a given.
I made this post, because there are rumours that after being gone for a few years, there’s a chance that it will be coming back in 2027. I am so looking forward to it. But for now, I have to make sure what I have now will last me in case it doesn’t ever come back.
I am replacing an old coffee maker and figured Id look into Nespresso instead of getting another traditional machine. I do drink coffee in the morning and sometimes make something milk-based later in the day. There are so many models that I’m having trouble narrowing it down. Which one would you personally call the best nespresso machine for everyday home use?

Hi! I was curious what everyone’s favorite Torani syrup flavors are for lattes? I really enjoy all of the vanilla flavors but was looking for a more fall flavor for my lattes. I’ve already tried the sugar free brown sugar cinnamon syrup and was quite disappointed. It tasted like a candle to me and was weirdly spicy and burning. I was hoping someone could recommend a fall flavored sugar free syrup that did not taste like the brown sugar cinnamon one. I’m open to anything and thanks in advance!
I always get great joy on Sunday morning when I restock my espresso pods. Very colorful this time.
As you may have heard, there are cookies in the advent calendar. I got it anyway, and here is what I wanted to know:
- they are well sealed and packaged- no crumbs to worry about
- you still get coffee on cookie days, so you still get something even if you can’t eat the cookies
- they are days >!5 and 20<! if you want to take them out first
It doesn’t really affect the value of the calendar as they are just very small little treats in my opinion.
