Every three to four paydays, it's time for a restock. This time around, I did the "buy 10 get 3 free". It cost me around $157. It's keeping me out of [chain], where I ended up every time I left the house. My usual order is a quad shot with cold foam, which cost just over $6 a cup. I haven't been to the drive-thru since June 11th. I know that it hasn't even been a month yet, but I'm feeling pretty good about it.

I dropped the lid...I don't know what kind of nespresso machine this is, but I'd like to replace it.

I've had this Nespresso machine for a couple years now, and one thing I've always noticed is that there is always residual build up of what I assume is coffee.

Do you also experience this? If so, how does one clean it while still having piece of mind future espresso won't taste like whatever cleaning product recommended.

I’m new to the nespresso game. Got I believe the vertuo machine for Christmas, coffee shop prices have been getting extreme so I decided to start making it at home.

My go to drink is a brown sugar shaken espresso

I’m using this syrup and these are the pods I ordered (I just learned there’s a whole array of different pods)

I bought a metal shaker to shake the espresso with ice and these syrup inside

Then pour a tad bit of oatmilk over the top.

Only problem the after taste is kind of.. strange.

I believe it’s the espresso rather than the syrup because I’ve also used different syrup I’ve had and it’s the same deal. Anyone have any good recommendations for good pods? I prefer the double shots of the espresso but singles will do

Hey guys! Does anyone know the answer? I kinda don’t want to experiment and waste coffee pods.

If I want to adjust the concentrated cup sizes, should I do it by adjusting the 25/40/80ml coffee pods. Or should I do it with the original coffee pod, and then double-clicking and holding the button, until the desired cup size is reached?

I’ve tried the Monin Butter Pecan and did not like it at all despite butter pecan being my favorite flavor at dunkin </3

I have the Essenza Mini.

Yesterday I run the descaling mode with a water and citric acid solution. After rinsing with water and letting it cool down, I tried to make a cup of coffee but it didn't work.

As you can see in the video, after pressing a button, it flashes for a few seconds and then stops. No water, no noise.

I can feel the heater getting hot, but I cant notice anything else.

I tried running it on descaling mode again, but even though the lights were blinking fast, again not water got pumped.

I've tried taking off and on the water tank, more than 30 times, but it didn't work. I also tried a different outlet.

Any idea on what is going on and how to fix?

I’m using the nespresso virtuoso pop. I used to be a barista and am pretty familiar with milk/espresso ratios so I don’t think that’s the issue unless ratios are different with this machine

The drink pictures is with a double shot. Definitely a lighter color than I expected and tasted like straight up milk. Then, today, I used a single shot pod and used less milk. About 6 ounces plus the 2 ounce shot which is a much smaller ratio than I am used to (10 ounces of milk for 1 shot) but the drink still tasted the same: weak and milky.

Does anyone know why? Is it the pods I’m using? I used two random ones from the variety pack that comes with the machine so I’m wondering if I just picked wrong. Or if there is something else I’m not doing right.

Nespresso marketing-machine is a juggernaut. Delivery day is always great!

Nespresso Vertuo Plus machine. The one that automatically closes.

It just started out of nothing. Original Nespresso pods. The machine closes normally but the spikes do not puncture the pod for some reason. Once it is closed, red light starts to flash and nothing happens.

Everything inside the machine looks normal. The spikes are there, sharp. Everything is clean. I did a full reset. It did not help.

Any idea what exactly is wrong?

Bought the Vertuo Pop around 3 weeks ago, been working fine, today it's started doing what you see in the video. We've tried turning it off at the plug for 20 seconds, resetting it to factory settings, cleaning the inside of it in case there's anything causing a blockage, and nothing has worked.

Anyone have any other ideas of things to try?

UPDATE: It started working again fine on its own later on the same evening, no idea what its issue was.
