Fly aways, frizz

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to hopefully help some people out there. We all know that fine hair comes with frizz and fly aways. I recently tried something that I think has helped after just one time trying. I tried the Hask Keratin mask. Now this past couple weeks my frizzy has been so bad I've been laying on the products so I decided to use the Keratin hair mask that I tried before and had some success with. Now I know they say don't use it on fine hair it will weight it down but it looks better than it has and I wasn't having to put as much product in. I still use garnier sleek serum and a strengthening leave in conditioner that also acts as a heat protectant by Biolage. This I usually do without the mask and have had success with it but recently it has just gotten bad again. I don't feel it has weighed my hair down too much I mean it has to a little to help with the frizz but it's better than dealing with hair sticking up and again it's not really noticable. I would only do it once a week or every other as to not over do it with protein. Also another thing I'm going to try just using regular conditioner on the scalp and letting it it for a few mins. that also seems to help and I stopped doing it cause I know they say not to put conditioner on your scalp but I think us fine hair people actually need it just don't drench it with it but enough to cover your scalp and make sure you get plenty on the ends and mids. I found using leave in conditioner (heat protectant) and serum alone just didn't seem to be enough. I'm happy with the results. I also would not recommend doing a salon Keratin treatment I think it would be too much for fine hair. Good luck and let me know how it works out for you. I know I struggle so hoping this gets out and helps someone. Oh and for anyone wondering, I also left the mask on for 10 mins. before rinsing out and didn't need to use any other conditioner besides the leave in and only did that because I blow dry my hair so for the heat protectant.
