Okay the Last of the torture cocktails. Jax is forced to face there own nightmare, as the symbol of whay they claimed was the purest form of masculinity is forceably pulled from them stripping them down to there core, as the shadows of there freinds point and laugh...

this is a super simple drink, rather a pure one too. I wanted to make something based on a banana cream liquor thats just really good on its own. I also tried making one with Irish cream and banana syrupe and that one turned out better. I am just gonna drink the banana liquor on its own it doesn't need anything else.

Jax's naked Truth

2 oz double chocolate vodka
1.5 oz Irish cream
1 oz banana syrup

1 combine it all in a shaker with Ice
2 shake to chill and combine
3 strain into a rocks glass with Ice

this drink is good, the double cocolate vodka isn't the best its a little harsh but that seems fitting here. the banana syrup adds some sweet, and the banana blends with the cream to make something thats got an edge to start with but the creamy banana finish really works well.

sorry this ones not to fancy the husband wanted me to make a special dessert he saw online... so the morning I baked an apple pear pie with walnuts... I let it cool while I meal preped the weeks lunches and dinners for us (alpastor chicken in rice, and hamburger bowls with chispy potatoes and cheese) then I baked that whole pie into the center of a cheese cake, I'll post pics tomarrow with the I'm gonna put you freaks in your place drink

Honestly with how poorly the banana cream worked with the vodka I was worried I was mis remembering how good it was. So I poured myself two fingers and grabbed some short bread and... Ohh yeah this stuff is better on its own

We finaly get back to Pomni's torment, cast into a dark room with a twisted version of the first being she really tried to reach out too. and first you see him scitter away into the dark but then its sharp sugar shard teeth sinking in as more come and they start to shake

Honestly seeing gummigoo in that way was disturbing.

since these are night mares O wanted to do something strong and mind numbing, but aparently Mad dog 20 20 has been mostly discontinued and no one carries it any more, and I didn't wanna crack open the bottle of everclear cause me and the husband are saving that for something really stupid

so I went with a mostly vodka drink

Sweet betrayal

1 oz melon liquor
1 oz lime vodka
1 oz strawberry lemonade vodka
1 ouce sparkling lemonade

1 combine lime vodka, and melon liquor in a mixing glass
2 stir well
3 pour into a collins glass filled with Ice
4 in a mixing glass combine remaining vodka and lemonade
5 stir well
6 using a spoon fload the lemonade mix into the drink

a cool chill tart drink, the lime and lemon work on that and the melon rounds it a bit as a night mare drink its not to bad kinda another take on lemon lime and bitters, or atleast not to far from it

Gangle's torment is to be surrounded by representations of how she veiws her art, sobbingh at her for being createred before the truck comes barreling in.

Zooble's torture is drowning in mis matched body parts that pin them in place with mirrors placed so no matter where they look they can still see this forien feeling body they are trapped in.

I feel a little guilty conflating these two into a single drink but honestly they both play on self worth and self image, and yess by that logic I could add Jax to this drink but I have one planned for there torture already

so next Pomni or Jax? I can't seem to find any MD2020 so I might have to change my pomni plans

having already used the truck imagrey in gangles On comming traffic drink I was stuck thinking of something new. Oddly I was inspired by the junkyard song Worthless from the brave little toster... I will probably be making my self sad on music binge after this starting with that song... It felt like it fit so I based the drink on something called a junk yard dog

Worthless

1 oz scotch
1 oz spiced rum
1 oz vanilla fire ball (this and the apple fire ball are rather nice)
.5 oz pomagranete syrup
4-5 oz seven up

1 combine Spirits and syrupe into a shaker with Ice
2 shake to mix and chill
3 strain into a collins glass with Ice
4 top with the 7up

this is an oddly sweet candy like drink. I've blaming on the vanilla and pom syrup. very good emminitly drinkable. and according to my Foxy oddly hard hitting. He dropped out after the first drink tonight but it was very good

My last gangle mask that I took to the bus stop was sadly stolen in a day... I knew it would be taken but I'm Kinda sad it was taken so quickly I was rather proud of that one.

But thinking of Gangle and her new found confidance at the end of the show I had a fun thought, that also fit with her being an anime fan

Kintsugi is a japanese tradition of repairing broken pottery with a special laquer made with gold, it sybolizes emdracing the flaws and enhancing the beauty of the object because ther repairs are just as valuable

I thought this fit with end of the series Gangle, She had embraced her new life, and was building herself up.

my only concern was I wasn't sure if the cracks should be just on the mask or on the eyes and mouth so I made two masks with slightly differnt cracks and some features

Okay just a heads up I am changing last nights cocktail to the "I'm Fine" its a better name I think

for this drink it relates to the scene where pomni reveals Kingers super power, that he becomes more lucid in the dark. this leads to them formulating a plan to try to fight back, as well as a lore dump of Caines existance.

for this drink I did look through several drinks on a theme, I found some bucket named cocktails, though that was hard since stores are litteraly selling bucket cocktails with all ingreidiants for a certain cocktail provided in a bucket. but none of the ones I saw looked any good so I looked at a drink I wanted to fit into this even if its not on them and based this on a slow comfortable screw.

I have a Bucket on my head

1.5 oz scotch
1 oz rock n rye (i bought this ages ago for I drink I never made and havent tried it till recently and I'm really liking this stuff
1 oz sour apple liquor
3.5 oz peach juice

1 combine all your ingrediants into a cocktail shaker with Ice
2 shake to chill and mix
3 strain into a collins glass with Ice

this is another great drink. me and the husband were sipping on these all night. whole the base drink name isn't on theme the feel of these with Kingers calm dad vibes really works, the peach and rye work well and the slightest hint of apple is just in the background

Pleasee be kind, In my attempts to get the layering right on these I have drunk 3 in fairly quick succession.

turns out the syrupes I was using was wrong, I generally use sugar free because I am diabetic but for a good layer you need the density of sugar so after the first two tastey tastey shots I had to break out my old fully leaded full sugar syrup

As Pomni debates with the others as to the right button to press, hopping that Kingers moment of lucidity might spring into being in the darnkess of the office, Jax has flashbacks, moments from the reall world, of him on the run from something, remind him that reality isn't all its cracked up to be and in a frenzied state he rushed forward and slams his bunny paw down on a button, for better or worse

Jax's Panic Attack

.5 oz Grenedine
.5 oz vodka
,5 oz Blue curaco

1 place a 2 oz double shot glass in the freezer for atleast 10 minutes to chill
2 pour the grenedine into the bottom of the glass,
3 place a bar spoon into the mouth of the shot glass then slowly add the vodka, then add the Blue curaco

its a super simple flavor downed at once you get the hit of the grenedine followed with the vodka and orange of the curaco.

its not so much a special flavor but a visual drink with that ocean of blue floating above the dark red

but it still tastes good

While Abel, Pomni, and Ragatha are reading the Admin zone, Jax distracts Caine with his questions about his secret hobbies. Caine then expoinds on the mysterous macroverse (meat space) that his creators have cut him off from.

I based this one a Drink called the Big Boss, with some tweaks. Its a really simple drink and honestly not too bad

The MacroVerse

2 oz Rock and Rye
1 oz Amaretto
.5 oz vanilla syrup

1 place your rockes glass into the freezer about 10 minutes before the drink
2 add your spirits and syrup into the chilled glass with Ice
3 stir gently with a bar spoon

I'm not normally one for a straight spirit forward drink but this was good the rye and ammaretto blend well with the vanilla, and it has a great smell. If you want to thin it out topping it with coke or cherry coke is a good way to take off the edge

So Abel leads half the group through the system's backdoor to gather us Admin Permissions

I did a little reasearch to make this one. I found out there is actually a programer aproach to formulating cocktails. from one of those groups I found a drink called the Adminstrator, and another one called The Administrators cock....

I played with that a bit and got this nice cool tinted drink

Admin Access

2 oz white rum
1 oz sour apple liquor
Lemon/lime soda

1 add your spirits to the cocktail shaker with Ice
2 shake to chill and mix
3 strain into a rocks glass with Ice
4 top with lemon/lime soda

this is a decent drink cool and slightly tart. you don't get the apple flavor but its a nice refresher... kinda a good pallet cleanser

okay please bear with me I had to do this drink twice and its hitting oddly hard. So if there are any typos please forgive

Starting on drinks for Episode 7 Caine left a not stating he was stepping out for the ingrediants to his signature Cigarette and Milk Casserole in a nod to all the absent dad tropes. So I figured I would make that the cocktail. also since so many folks seem to have a problem wiht my gangle figure I brought in manager Gangle to keep you heathens in line

this drink Isn't based on any other this is actualy me just riffing on a concept. I have done a few of these already this is fun. I did have to do this one twice though. the first on with bourbon just didn't work

Cigarette and Milk Casserole

2 oz Irish cream
2 oz spiced rum
.75 oz menthol mint liquor (peppermint schnaps will do if you can't find it)
.5 oz simple syrup

1 add your spirits and syrups into a cocktail shaker with Ice. (I add the cream in last just because)
2 Shake to chill and mix
3 strain into a rocks glass

this is a good drink creamy and with a sharp spearmint tint. oddly it goes well with cookies. I drank both my attempts with store clearance twix cookies...

for this drink I almost went back to the gun cocktails, there is a gun club punch I might try, but in my scans I came across something Called a Pommee... and my brain was like Its a sign from Dionysus himself... hopefully the the wine and drinking aspect and not the insanity and madness aspect, cause I'm not sure

this is a spirit forward drink, and with Gin thats usualy a down side for me but it works here the Gin, jager and vermoth combine into something very interesting, thats offset by the sour apple and the hint of sweetness from the syrup. The husband was not a fan but its nice got more of a bite then I would normaly car for but its an easy sip

For this drink we visit the losers room, we get there probably just before Zooble, missing the heart felt talk between Ragatha and Kinger, but we do get to see then dressing up as cats. Which is just fun.

So for the drink I strolled though a suprising number of cat themed cocktails before landing on one I could rif with and that should fit the theme.

Honestly we got an ominusly black drink out of this, something so dark it should grant kinger sanity

KittyCat Loser Box

1.5 oz Vanilla vodka
1 oz blue curaco
.5 oz cherry liquor
4 oz sprite
1 oz black cherry juice

1 add everything to a shaker with Ice
2 shake to mix and chill
3 then strain into a collins glass with Ice
4 optional if you want some bubbles you can top it off with a little more sprite

now this drink is so wonderfull it looks dark and forboding but the taste is nice its mellow and sweet like a seat in the shade. deffinitly a condender for one of my favorites

Tonights drink of course calls on Gangles deep dark desire to cackle like a mad man as she unloads with a tommygun... Something I'm sure we can all relate too. Turns out there are a few tommy gun cocktails out there. I foiund one that I felt could work, saw that it also had a Fizz alt and made both... and one twice... which explains my current state of mind. but its fun.

Laughing Maniacly
2 oz of bourbon
1 oz triple sec
1 oz ginger simple syrup

1 add ice to a shaker
2 add the jam onto the Ice, then add your spirits, and syrup to the shaker
3 shake to mix and chill (i just realised I do use the shaker an awful lot, I think because its more visceral, and it does slightly water down the drinks which is a plus for most drinks in my book)
4 strain into a rocks glass with Ice

this was a good sipping drink you get some nice bourbon notes comming though, with the warming ginger and the citrus... I really like this

Laughing Maniacly Fizz

At first I thought I found the rare drink that was superior in no fizzed form then I re did the drink using Ginger ale rather then ginger beer. and while for most things I still think ginger beer is the superior alternitive, the slightly sweeter ale works better here. It really lets the other flavors breath while toning down the bourbons harsher notes

Judge Hopps is still on call for this drink and honestly I'm getting some weird vibes with how shes looking at the crew. maybe I should get a new gun bunny for tomarrows drink... Oh crap she heard me run...

so Dark Judge Hopps is still on the scene making sure none of the circus folk do anything to exciting with the guns on display. She refuses to let me caller her Judge Judy i don't know why

anyway this is based on the scene where Zooble ambushes our lovely kinger from the high ground, getting in a cheeky little head shot.

for this cocktail I looked into the sniper series of drinks. there are a suprisingly large number of Sniper drinks, russian, american, I went with the Lady sniper with some modifications (i didn't even know they made artichoke liquor). Sadly my first attempt was a failure... it wasn't un drinkable. It just tasted exactly like cherry flavored cough syrup. which could probley get you more messed up then the drink, and with as wobbly as I am is saying alot

my second attept was just right though

I think I got kinger

1 oz blanco tequlia
1 oz lime vodka
1 oz sour apple liquor
.5 oz lavender syrup

1 add all the ingrediants to a shaker with Ice
2 shake to chill and mix
3 strain into a martien glass

this is a sharper drink then I normally go for the lime and the apple tweek the sour a bit letting the Tequila handle the bite and leaving some floral nots for the lavender. Its a good drink that hits hard with little to get in the way of the alchol

We have the Disappearing guy... I kinda missed the shot of using him for the bar drink, so I added him here. I could have always tossed him into they all get guns too but I made the hat so im using it here. For disapearing guy I went with concept of the invisible man drink out of crypts and Cocktails. the Idea is a perfectly clear drink that no one would notice.

as I sat down to type that out the dogs rang the potty bellsmaking me stop and get up... not really a problem but in my weakened state I wanted popcorn chicken, and another drink since the dogs had made me go closer to the liquor cabinet I decided to induldge in a less potent cocktail and make this a twofer as my chicken air frys, and under the judgemental stares of 2 german sheppards. I kinda want the drink anyway do to things that had happened earlier.

So for the seventh inning streatch I wanted something simple something kinda fitting of the ball park setting. I went with a modified snake bite. A snake bit is another beer cocktail being equal parts lager with equal parts hard cider for a big frothy stein of the amber good stuff. but for the stretch I added a little extra that sits so damn well.

The Disapearing Guy

2 oz triple sec
1.5 oz 99 bananas
1 oz pineapple rum
1 oz simple syrup
2-3 oz club soda to top

1 in a mixing glass with Ice add your syrup and spirits
2 gently stir the spirits with a spoon to chill and mix
3 Strain into a rocks glass (optional if you have some crystal clear Ice you can add that to the glass)
4 top with club soda

this is a pleasent drink, with a pleasent fruit stripe gum ish flavor disguised to look like nothing. If you have distilled water and the patance to make crystal Ice to enhance the illusion. It might be worth it.

Seventh Inning Stretch

12 oz your favorite Lager (natty light for me)
12 oz hard cider (angry orchard here)
2 oz butter scotch schnapps

1 in a large stein add 6 oz beer and 6 oz cider
2 as the foam settles add the 2 oz schnapps
3 stir with a bar spoon
4 top with the rest of the cider and beer

this is a nice drink the cider and the beer run together so well, there is a reason that snake bites are popular with british tooths (not to self... develope a variank for Ork Yooffs) and adding the candy undertones to that make it a little stronger and mellower... I likes it

so I now have 2 and a half sets of begging eyes staring at me... I think its the chicken... I doubt the shepards and the cat want to steal my drink. So thank you for reading my rambling, and Dextar, Morgan, and Deb also say hi

so for todays drink I needed something Softball related, I landed on a baseball cocktail and a video game cocktail based on Centipede (LOL)

It took me 3 attempts to get it right taking bits from the centipeed blending them with the crackerjack. the first ones didn't work to tart. the second one was good but cookiedough whiskey might not be to easy to find, and Im not sure how I could teach you to fat wash that flavor. so I landed on sometihng that gets a nice pink cocktail thats just plain tastey. the name of course referaces Ragatha's least favorite fan eating the ball.

the mix of flavors just dance happily Its a nice light drink and deffintly worth the time...

Hello all, today we have the intermission, in this I will give you a the cocktail amd it's mocktail variant. this is another excuse to play with the alchol replacemt recipies and shocker of shockers in tonights the mocktail is superior me thinks.

This started with a intermission cocktail I found published drom a canadian reasturant. That was a huge mistake (I knew it would be once I saw it had vinager in it but I'll try anything once) so I kept the Bourbon and went a little mad just reaching for components and I ended on something quite nice

Caine's intermission

2 oz Bourbon
.5 oz cinnimon syrup
.5 oz ginger syrup
.5 oz lemon juice
1 oz pear juice

dr pepper to top

1 add spirits, syrups, and juices into a shaker with Ice
2 shake to chill and mix
3 strain into a coup glass
4 top with dr pepper

this is a decent drink, the Bourbon still has a bit of a bite but the spices warm and the fruit rolls of the tongue nicely

Caine's Intermission (for gloinks)

2 oz Bourbon replacement
.5 oz cinnimon syrup
.5 oz ginger syrup
.5 oz lemon juice
1 oz pear juice

dr pepper to top

1 add fake Bourbon, syrups, and juices into a shaker with Ice
2 shake to chill and mix
3 strain into a coup glass
4 top with dr pepper

this was such a nice drink, it reminded me of liquid version of my secret pie recipie. I could deffintly happly sip on this all night booze be damned

Bourbon Replacement

1/2 cup boiling water
1 bag of black tea
1/4 cup fig jam

1 in a mixing bowl steep the tea for 5-10 minutes
2 toss the teabags and add the jam
3 whisk the jam into the hot tea untill it disolves
4 using a fine mesh strainer transfer into a jar and store in the fridge for up to a week

of the replacemnt recipies this is one of the better ones, the black tea and fig mixture is rather nice on its own

now on to the episode and scene that made me start this journy.

I looked through several possible drinks for this one, playing on the Noir aspects but fell back to Zooble, and her dream of opening a bar. inspired by that, and the sad closure of Purple Quarters (the bar that stood in for Triangle in episode nines real world article) I found a drink called a Bartenders Dream. I altered it slightly, and brought in Gangle for the picture because yeah I think she's part of Zoobles dreams now too.

Zoobles Dream

1 oz gin
.5 oz blue curaco
1 oz peach schnapps
1 oz pineapple juice
1 oz peach juice
.5 oz lemon juice
5-6 dashes orange bitters
(optional) club soda to top

1 add you spirits, and juices to a shaker with Ice
2 shake to chill and mix
3 strain into a coupe glass
4 add your bitters (and soda if wanted)

dispite as the husband says Gin is an aquired taste this is mighty nice, the floral of the gin is at the edges but its the fruit that comes forward... just a nice. the soda doesn't change things just adds some more volume and spreads the flavors out a bit.

this is nice the wieght isn't to heavy its something that can deffently be sipped on long into the leaving with no ill effects. Heck I think the snakebite I had after effected me more.

so tomarrow is the intermission...should that be something strong or a Mocktail. What do you think?

Well I was wrong yesterday...can't even blame it on over imbuing ramune since I had started debating the bar drink before I made the ramune. But I checked this morning and the stargazing adventure was between them.... so I did a little reaserch (you would be shocked how many cocktails have the term pornstar in them) but eventualy I landed on a specialty cocktail from an Icelandic hotel/observitory called a Starry Night. It was a bit to liquorice forward (they do seem to like there super salty liqourice) so I cut that back and tweaked a few more things, mainly because I didn't heve some of them LOL but I did come up with something interesting that Im calling StarGazing

StarGazing

2 oz water
2.5 oz simple
.75 oz sambuca
1.5 oz blue curaco
2 oz blackberry liqueur
2 oz lemon juice
2.75 oz spiced rum
pinch of edible glitter
ginger ale to top

1 In clean mason jar combine your water, syrup, juice and glitter.
2 mix well before sealing and storing in the fridge to chill
3 before you serve give the jar a shake and swirl to get the glitter moving about
4 measure out 4.5 oz of the spirits and pour into a coup
5 top with ginger ale and stir with a spoon

this is a odd drink, that anise smell is there in the sambuca but its muffled in the sweetness and tartness of the other parts of the drink. its also a pretty drink though it doesn't photograph well, the layers swirling in the drink and the sparkling star light of the glitter catch the eye nicely its a warming drink, and an excuse to use up that sambuca

This makes roughly enough for 3 drinks so it is great for parties, and could easily be scalled up for a punch bowl

today's drink was a hard one to come up with. dispite my weird collection of cocktail books I didn't have any anime ones to draw from.... my one anime recipie book is dedicated to baking so no help here. I went on line to see if I could find any cocktail books and dispite the fact that I have 3 dnd ones, 2 videogaming ones, a love craft one, and two horror movie cocktail books no one has made a dedicated anime cocktail book. Looking online all the fan made cock tale drinks were dedicated to mostly Shonun series... ,which I might try on my own time, and some series about a highschool bartender so nothing really to inspire me there.

so I looked up what drinks are popular with japanese high school students and nere the top was Ramune soda. I remember tasting a few oth these and particularly liking the melon one... so that inspired me, and I decided to make alcholic copy cats of ramune flavors

these are all good I'm on my fith one as I type this (and munch on a peanut butter and fluff wrap) though the husband did drink half of three of them so I'm really only on 3 1/2 drinks (sip)

bottles and rocks glasses used just for the pics, though if you wanted to store for the future I do love these sorts of bottles they are great for storing premixed drinks

Boozey Ramune (original flavor)
2 oz vanilla vodka
1 oz blue curaco
.5 oz banana syrup
12 oz can of sprite (or other lemon lime soda)

1 add your spirits and syrup to a pint glass and stir with a spoon
2 add ice
3 top with soda

This has a great sweet candy flavor very similar to bubble gum, the orange of the curaco and the banana candy flavor of the syrup work well for the color and flavor of plain Ramune. Very good

Boozey Ramune(melon flavor)

2 oz vanilla vodka
1.5 oz midori melon liquor

12 oz can of sprite (or other lemon lime soda)

1 add your spirits to a pint glass and stir with a spoon
2 add ice
3 top with soda

This was the husbands favorite, the melon flavor comes through nicely and the vanilla adds a little to the sweetness

Boozey Ramune(strawberry flavor)
2 oz vanilla vodka
1 oz strawberry rum
.5 oz strawberry syrup
12 oz can of sprite (or other lemon lime soda)

1 add your spirits and syrup to a pint glass and stir with a spoon
2 add ice
3 top with soda

this was decent, emminetly drinkable (and actualy what I am sipping on as I speak... had to perfect the recipie... not sure if the sandwhich is helping on not) but a nice drink really

this ones not in the picture, and was made on a drunken whim since cherry is not a traditional Ramune flavor. but it is very nice atleast to my weastern palate. not my favorite but very good none the less

these were fun. and super simple I could deffintly see myself going in for a few other flavors

It seems to hit as hard as soon hari with a little more control of the flavors involed.... now I am tepted to try side by side comparisons.... I know ones korean booze compared to a japanese soda so maybe not far but I'm havingt fun

for tomarrows adventure its would logically be Zoobles bar adventure.. but thats kinda what inspired this whole thing with my corn cob blitz.... should I give the bar its own drink or skip it and do a star gazing drink instead?

*wow letting the algorythem control my playlist ended me on Ork polka... i think Im weird*

*starts a playlist starting with "worlds smallest violin" and "100 bad days" because my brain hates me*

okay I couldn't make up my mind on this one President Pomni deserved her own drink but I happened to find an australian called a Boozey spider and that was to damn fitting. so today we get another two fer.

Pomni's drink (wrong pomni I know) is based on an El Presidenti with secret service ragatha putting herself between jax and his Spider bomb

President Pomni

1.5 oz pineapple Rum
.5 oz watermelon schnapps
.5 oz triple sec
1 oz grenidine

1 add everything to a shaker with Ice
2 shake to mix and chill
3 strain into a coup glass

this was a odd drink, the the flavors kinda flow together oddly its not unpleasent In fact I drank three (with slight variants) trying to narrow it down the water melon was swamping out the other flavors at first but now we get something rounded, thats just pleasent

A Spider Bomb

2 oz blackberry Whiskey
.5 amaro
1 scoop vanilla Icecream
Ginger beer

1 add the scoop of icecream to a pint glass
2 pour the whiskey and amaro over the icecream
3 stir with a spoon
4 gradually add the ginger beer adding as much or as little as you want
5 stir with a spoon again before drinking

The fox didn't like this one. I think its the ginger notes not playing well with the Icecream to him and when your used to more sweet with Ice cream yeah i can see that feeling odd. but the flavor is good, If you want to shift a little way towards the normal replaceing the ginger beer with Ginger ale could work well
