Sacher kombucha

I tried preparing a tisane kombucha without tea (so without caffeine). I was afraid that this would kill my SCOBY but I still wanted to try...for science. It was a sacher cake-flavoured tisane. Amazing taste, would recommend (cocoa aftertaste...I love it). However after the fermentation I put the SCOBY in usual sugared black tea to get him to fully recover, and it looks like it's fine. It's floating on the tea and we also have some little bubbles. Fine to try.
