Literally what is going on in the world. Unemployment for recent grads is so high. AI taking jobs. An ai bubble. Climate crisis. Maybe WW3. Drones killing innocent people?!? Like what is going on. Possible recession.
If data centers use so much water for cooling, why not just mass produce a sustainable version of a data center? Like just take a bit more time to figure out a better strategy and then boom make a bunch of those and it doesn’t damage the planet and we can use ai more.
Guys I’m scared. I’m 24F gonna start my last year in microbiology and marketing minor and see all this stuff about the job market. What do I even do after graduation. It feels like every field is suffering. I was thinking of trying to do this Virtual Assistant course where they guarantee a client after. So I could get a job outside of the corporate world. It would be remote and from my laptop, I’ve been struggling my with my health and dealing with crazy fatigue. I tried to start a social media marketing agency last year and I burned myself out. My average in uni is 70 so I can’t even do a masters. Like what’s the point. Do I change career fields? I don’t even have the money to do that. Do I self teach something to myself I was gonna see if I bc could teach myself data analytics. Do I learn more about AI and adapt to the changing world? Like it feels like we’re in this pause moment right now. Any ideas? Any recommendations?
Honestly I feel like I’m quiet quitting. Like what’s the point of any this anymore there’s way too much bad news. I feel so numb to it all. My motivation had disappeared. I had hustle and ambition before but what’s the point?
