Mysterious bug bites keep appearing (f22)
On Monday morning, I woke up to an itchy red bump on the front and back of my neck. It felt like there was a lump under the skin. On Tuesday they turned sore, and I noticed another bite next to the original front-of-neck bite. Today (Wednesday), I noticed a new bite, also on the front of my neck. They are itchy, then sore the next day. My whole neck feels stiff.
I haven’t been outside much, and I notice them when I wake up. It must be something biting me in my sleep. The only bugs I’ve had in my apartment recently (that I’m aware of) have been a yellow sac spider, fruit flies, and a few centipedes. I checked thoroughly for bed bugs, and there are no traces of any. I haven’t seen any mosquitoes in my apartment, let alone outside yet. My partner sleeps in the same bed and hasn’t had any bites.
What could it be from? Should I be concerned?
