FIRST SPARKSTANI SENATE ELECTIONS CALL FOR CANDIDATES

Quote, "There will be 5 senators. 1 consul, 1 praetor, 1 aedile, 1 quaestor, and 1 tribune of the plebs. The consul will be responsible for running the senate, external affairs, legislative matters etc. The praetor will be in charge of security, drafting laws etc. The aedile plans events and manages documents/lore. The quaestor manages the finances. the tribune of the plebs handles internal affairs. All bills must go through the senate where 3/5 needs to agree and must include atleast one of either the consul or the tribune of the plebs. The way elections work: each individual stands for positions, not by party. a single person can stand for a maximum of any 2 positions, with the exception of the same person cannot stand for both consul and tribune of the plebs concurrently. also, a consul may not stand for consul in the succeeding term. each term lasts for 2 years irp, or 30 days irl."

Ever since August 27th, 2025, 365 days ago, the polsim r/redditparliamentsim was created by u/Chance_Range_727 and u/Admirable-Food9942 . I'm sure all of you had some great (and horrible) memories in these 12 months and I very much hope that we can last another year peacefully!

Thankyou for u/SparkSanSucks, u/Odd-Emotion6673, u/Chance_Range_727 and other influential polsim players along the way that kept us alive. It is honestly unreal that we made it this far (further than Dee O'Arr lols). Good luck to you all in the comming 10th General Election! Cya!

The State of Kathrolia holds an important place in UoRian Trade as they directly control most of the northern strait, but the State itself has long been ruled by Admiral Warrant Lee, the Anti-Communist Military that kept around certain old central members of the party. The military dictatorship grows weaker by the day with worker's strikes all around the nation and internal conflict between the miliary and old-soviet governments. At long last, the third Kathrolian Civil War would start. Between the Military, Old Council Communists and Syndicalists.

And I guess players can like take over factions and currently I'm rolling for the regional resistance, I guess.
