Well... I think the time has finally come. I would hate to see her get turned to scrap so I figured I would give the community a chance to make an offer before she goes to the graveyard. Located in Central PA

Selling my 2009 Mini Cooper S R56 as a project car or donor vehicle. I have a clean title in hand. Asking $2000 obo.

The Bad:

The car was misfiring real bad, so I had it towed to a "Mini specialist" in Waynesboro. It sat there for 6 months, and the only thing this guy actually accomplished was blowing my valve cover into 20 pieces.

The diagnosis was low engine compression on cylinder 2. There's no valve cover at the moment. It’s basically a brand new car under the hood (all that's left to replace is the engine)! You can either drop a new one in, try repbuilding it or take advantage of having all this new stuff for a low price!

The Good:

Basically everything else has been recently replaced or upgraded:

Tires: Less than 20k miles on them (4 years left on the warranty)

Thermostat, Water Pump & Belt: Replaced less than 2k miles ago (OEM parts)

Clutch, Flywheel, MC: Less than 10k miles (OEM Parts)

Spark Plugs & Coil Packs: Replaced 20k miles ago (NGK)

K&N Cold Air Intake & Turbosmart Blow Off Valve installed about 3k miles ago.

High Pressure Fuel Pump, Low Pressure Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter all replaced about 15k miles ago (OEM parts)
