Found this western toad, Carson City NV

Adopted this beautiful girl today at an adoption event at my local reptile store. Her backstory is she was bought by a family in the hopes they could overcome their fear of snakes.

It didn't work unfortunately but she has a good home now.

2nd shed for Cosmo who was adopted from a kid going into the military. First shed was sad and in tiny bits, this shed, much better.

I'm relatively new to python ownership, but I'm curious about their shedding behavior. Is it common for their eyes to clear up after being "in blue" before the shed actually happens?

First pic was taken almost a week ago, 2nd pick is from just now. I didn't find any shed, although there was a nice big poo in her enclosure (Im not sure if they like to poop right before or right after shed).
