I'm using:

• CQRobot 4 Ω, 3 W speaker
• Adafruit MAX98357A I2S Class-D amplifier breakout

Whenever audio starts playing, I hear a short crackle/pop from the speaker immediately before the actual sound begins. Once the audio is playing, it sounds normal.

Has anyone experienced this with the MAX98357A or a similar I2S amplifier setup?

Any suggestions to eliminate the crackle would be appreciated.
