I’m wondering if the HRE is buffed for stability of the realm?

In my latest playthrough I launched a legendary adventure from the Himalaya to Frisia with my OP army. I murdered five emperors in 20 years. Conquered West Francia, East Francia, Lotharingia, Bavaria and they still never have any internal strife.

In my previous play throughs they also seemed to keep going strong after similar assaults. And since the destruction of the HRE is always my top priority I’m annoyed I have to fight them to the last county 🤣
