Started out as a purely Science Museum. Then went purely on Aesthetics. No regrets.

What do you guys think of my career sandbox scienece museum? My building approach just involves naturally and gradually building exhibits as I go. It's sort of a growing puzzle in a way and finding creative ways to make sense of room connections, making do with what exhibits I unlocked and effectively using spaces is part of the fun for me.

Fully staffed with a robotic army.

I love the diversity of the Arty-Facts DLC

It blends so well with the other themes, like the marine life and the Wetlantean exhibits! Just wish I could get more "fish-themed" original artworks... only got the two so far!

Oh, and the Great Wave off Hogsport is easily my favourite famous artwork too. What's everyone else's favourite?!

Blades of Grass mean nothing to me

Seriously, the only one I recognized was Castlevania; and I still don’t know what Castlevania has to do with Two Point or Museums.

Ancient Invention spotted IRL

A Technofossil in Helsinki's Amos Rex museum! I wonder if Johan Urrutia is a Two Point fan, haha

Finally ! This is my first time finishing a museum !

After playing since release day, I finally manage to not abandon a museum halfway in the process and fully furnish it !
Layout inspired by actual castles and churches, to be in theme with Fantasy Finds. But too lazy to fully decorate the gardens, sorry.

Any advices for future builds ?

Bigger Museum, Pretty Please?

I know this is asked a lot but as someone that loves to have every item showcased in my museum, The biggest map just barely holds everything (This is keeping in mind space for decorations, multiple cafeterias/gift shops, etc.)

I understand that Two Point tries to cater to most systems and their limitations but as the game grows, I'm finding it harder and harder to find space for me to comfortably showcase everything without having things on top of each other.

Pebberly Heights Ending... Disappointing?

I just got to five stars and I'm confused did I accidentally skip part of the cutscene? Nothing happened once the tablet was fully activated. There was the voice over about possible puppet masters and Monty missing his flight but that's it.

I feel like every museum so far has had a fairly satisfying end so I'm not sure why this one doesn't actually resolve the mystery of what the giant tablet does or what the Anomalonians wanted (or what happened to them?). I thought maybe we'd meet an Anomalonian but I know the epilogue stuff isn't more story it's just endless stars. Maybe I missed something?

Are there any two-point games not worth getting?

I noticed a lot of Two-Point games are going on sale recently and I'm wondering if there are any that are not worth getting in your opinion!

Edit: Thank you all for the response, I guess I should get any of them that are on sale! 😂

Fantasy Finds and The Pointy Mountains... a rant.

I would have loved these two had their own stuff, It was disappointing to learn Fantasy Finds doesn't have its own museum, I wanted to pick that one up but it feels incomplete without it.

I was also very disappointed that the Pointy Mountains didn't have its own expedition map either and relies on the main one, so playing this museum doesn't feel as exciting as the others since I don't really have a sense of achievement.

What to do with rifts and digiverses?

I understand the flavor of rifts in the digiverse -it's cameos, a little kooky, adds crossover items that sometime can fly under the radar- but what do you personally do with the items that really stick out? I'm talking birds, slings, swords tomes garlic... the stuff that clearly does not match anything else.

Pathing Bug?

Key:

Blue - entrance from spawn

Red - Path taken by guests

Green - Path expected

Yellow - area I added that caused most (not all) guests to go the green route

So I noticed at silver bottom park after making my entry building that guests were coming from the wrong way to the ticket booths. I get that it's closer to an entrance but why aren't they going the shorter route?

There are no problems getting past my entry way area with the flowers and vending machines. Adding the yellow area made most guests go the shorter way but still some continue to go the longer path.

I had to make and add a self check in for people to actually go the way I want but that still needed to yellow area to make it happen.

I have the perimeter of the map lined with hedges partly while I'm working out how to layout the rest of the zooseum (and to help find thieves better so they can't go around easily) which makes the path even longer.

EDIT: I also noticed guests after getting a ticket will leave through the entrance to go around to the habitat exhibits!?

Any good Zone Tutorials?

Hello, I’m trying to level up my museum skills and get better at the game. Zones is a feature I haven’t really touched and I would like to start using it. Does anyone have any good tutorials for this?

On the flip side, is there Anyone that doesn’t recommend using zones?

Trying my hand at creating a world for the archeology artifacts

I have seen so many great museums over the last several months, they inspired me to try to do something out of the box. I wanted to give it a try at creating a world for the artifacts. I tried to transition the green areas to the desert, to the caves. I am happy with it for the most part. This is just half of the museum, been trying to work on what to do with the other half.

Bungle bungled

I'm pretty much at 3 stars on all maps except the mean one. Pointy or whatever it's called. Most have a good 2millon to 3.5 of two point coinage in its accounts but my bungle museum at level 35 is at 300k. Is this normal? I know you need the bots to clean the sludge and the security bots to repair the cleaning bots but does the sludge really affect your incoming in such a way?

I've obviously got various types of exhibitions as I think 1 star obligated you to do so but I decided to store my dinosaurs and aquariums as each museum ended up looking the same. So I have science , space and ended up having to put Dino again. Botany has a certain amount of space too.

Ive got my sponsors which are generally always the gift shop stuff and the publicity board. I've increased my prices which have helped a bit so is it the damn sludge? Do I need more bots (only got one of each)

Thanks curators for you help

Movement Controls...

Newbie to TPM here. I just purchased the game for my Steamdeck and my movement controls have disappeared! I'm loving the game but this issue has definitely annoyed me.
