Where do I send a bug report? Demolition tool deleted the rollercoaster now I cant progress

Where do I send a bug report? Demolition tool deleted the rollercoaster now I cant progressHi all! I am playing Rides and Relics and I used the demolition tool so i could do all my pathing and decoration from scratch. I noticed my game kept crashing just as the intro to the rollercoaster is being explained. As I click through the dialogue, the game crashes. I'm wondering if this is because I've accidently deleted the rollercoaster? Any help would be appreciated as I'm not sure how to get it back

I’m slowly accepting that I am not the favourite child

Firstly, my parents love and care for me deeply and show that affection through their actions. I have a younger brother (27M), and I (30, F) am not overly emotionally close to him, but we love to play board games, Mario, eat food, just generally enjoy each others company.

I have been a bit more of a quiet and introspective person, whereas my brother is a bit more of a life of a party type person. While my parents love and make time for us both, they do more with my brother like go on holidays, dinners, trips etc. I am included from time to time, but he is the default.

I could give more examples to illustrate but we could be here all day. My parents have limited emotional availability and are immigrants who really value hard work and sense of humour. My brothers personality is more aligned with that. When I was younger I didn’t really feel the difference. But now that we have our children, partners, etc I’m starting to see the favouritism come out in small ways.

I am slowly learning to accept this and build up my own sense of self worth so that I don’t take my parents preference for my brother as indication that I am worth less

How to be at peace/have emotional intelligence, knowing I am not the favourite child?

Hi everyone!

I apologise if this is the wrong sub! I’m looking to hear different perspectives regarding any experience others have with this.

I want to approach it in an emotionally intelligent way as much as possible.

Firstly, my parents love and care for me deeply and show that affection through their actions. I have a younger brother (27M), and I (30, F) am not overly emotionally close to him, but we love to play board games, Mario, eat food, just generally enjoy each others company.

My brothers personality is more aligned with that. When I was younger I didn’t really feel the difference. But now that we have our children, partners, etc I’m starting to see the favouritism come out in small ways.

I also want to add that I am speaking with a therapist regarding this, I suppose I’m more after hearing personal lived experience of others

Does anyone have any experience with this? How did you over come it?

Thank you!

What’s an opinion you have about Australia that you think most Australians would strongly disagree with?

Could be about anything — Australian culture, parenting, work, food, housing, dating, friendships, the weather, social norms, whatever

What’s your hill to die on?

How often do you demolish and redo your museums?

Hi everyone!

These days when I play I tend to continue the map that has the lowest stars and work on increasing its level. But every time I jump into a map that I haven’t played in a while I get to strongest urge to just delete everything and start from scratch!

I don’t end up doing it because I feel like ‘losing’ all the time and effort I previously put into the old layout and it’s harder to make progress when I’m constantly just re-doing things

So it got me curious, does anyone do this? Delete and rebuild from scratch?

Art museum most efficient way to level up experts?

Hi everyone!

I’m absolutely loving the artyfacts DLC - I’m trying to level up my experts for a particular goal and am trying to figure out the most efficient way to do this.

So far I’ve been doing a combination of getting them to create in the art studio, going on expeditions using the journal to add more xp gain, always doing long/detailed art and expeditions
, etc.

In terms of xp gain I’m just not sure which if these strategies is most efficient e.g. should I just spam one over the other?

Thank you!

Hobbies I can have with a 9 month old?

Hi everyone!

Currently im nap trapped and thinking about different hobbies to have and things to do in the day with my baby since ber wake windows are extending to 4 hours now!

At the moment I just sit near her while she plays in her play pen and we read books sing songs etc., but I want to try some activities that might be more fun for me, maybe like baking, or gardening but I don’t know how that would go with a 9 month old.

Any thoughts?

Any other 9 month olds with 4 hour wake windows??

I thought this amount of time would be waaay too long but bubs is thriving despite many online sources saying it’s overtired territory.

Anyone else?

I have to ignore my baby at bed time or else she gets distracted 😭 feeling guilty

So my baby (9 month old), is very playful and loves to have a yap with me.

However I noticed at bed time even if I make contact, make suush sounds to soothe her, verbally comfort her ‘I love you. Baby it’s bedtime now’ she gets extremely excited very quickly

I now ignore her at bed time while breastfeeding her and I hate that it works I feel so guilty cause I’m not lovingly looking in her eyes. When I ignore her she gets tired so quick and drifts off. To help distract me sometimes I just zone out sometimes I use my phone etc

I just feel like this is so wrong of me to do

The more I ‘go with the flow’ of changes, the more I enjoy parenting. Is this your experience too?

Mom to a 9 month old. I am anxiety prone and often panic when something changes. For example, naps change, the way she likes to be put to sleep changes, the length of time she sleeps for etc (realising a lot of my stress is sleep related lol)

Recently I have had thoughts around how for hundreds of thousands of year people have been raising babies without allllll the info we have today like BLW, wake windows etc, and they were still able to care for babies through responsive adaptive care

Part of me appreciates and values having a good routine, but I’m realising that when my routine and expectation of same-ness becomes too inflexible, I struggle when inevitably something in parenting changes.

Lately I’m trying to balance my mindset by having a structure and routine, but by being open that it may need to change at a moments notice.

I just really thought perhaps naively that at 9 months there would be a solid structure and routine, but there are still so many changes we navigate. Life definitely is more routine compared to when she was a newborn, but I’m often surprised that she goes from enjoyed being rocked to sleep one month, then the next month only wanting to be fed to sleep etc.

I’m hoping keeping a slightly more flexible mindset helps with adjusting to change that I think will continue to come!

Do I pass? Feeling a bit insecure today. Dysphoria hitting hard

Someone from my school mentioned I still look quite similar to how I did when we were younger and now I’m second guessing myself. Do I pass?

9 month old started second nap at 5.30pm - 5 hour wake window 😭Call it bedtime or wake her up after a cat nap?

Hi everyone

My 9 month old is on two naps a day - 3 hour wake window

First nap was smooth one hour.

Second nap was due for 3pm. 3pm was the 3 hour mark. She didn’t sleep until 5.30pm and cried the whole time - very out of character. This meant she was awake for 5.5hrs

I’m not sure whether to let her stay asleep now and call 5.30pm her bedtime, or wake her at 6.30pm and then go for her usual bedtime at 8.30pm to preserve her sleep schedule

Help!

What was the mindset shift that made simple living finally “click” for you?

I’m curious about the mental side of simple living. Sometimes it feels like the hardest part isn’t decluttering or spending less, but letting go of the idea that we always need more.
What belief, realisation, or mindset shift helped you feel genuinely content with a simpler life?

Do you have a go-to intake template for child assessments?

I know there are a tonne online - some more structured some more open ended. We have a default one in our clinic created by our director that we use but was curious about what others use?

What’s something that used to be common in Australia that’s slowly disappeared?

I was thinking about things that felt completely normal growing up but you hardly ever see anymore. Could be shops, TV shows, food, traditions, slang, places, or just things people used to do. What’s something you miss?

What’s a popular piece of AusFinance advice that you think is overrated?

Every subreddit seems to have advice that gets repeated over and over. Whether it’s “buy a house ASAP”, “just invest in ETFs”, “never finance a car”, or something else, what’s one piece of commonly repeated financial advice that you don’t think applies to everyone? Interested to hear different perspectives.

If a parent says 'I want my child assessed', how do you determine what assessment is appropriate?

Hi everyone,

I'm starting out in the child assessment space and I'm trying to get my head around the what info I would need, and what are the tests for each probably assessment pathway?

I know the main assessments this process could led to are typically either autism, adhd dyslexia, or probably a WISC

Any resources/courses or youtube videos are much appreciated!

EDIT: I've been a psychologist fully registered working in the therapy space with adults for ACT/CBT for mainly anxiety based disorders for 3 years. I've never worked with children/diagnostic assessments so I'm going to need proper supervision I'm realizing not just reddit. I just had a panic moment and posted on reddit without using much of my clinical brain lol. I'm coming back into work after 9 months off due to having my first baby - so that also comes with it's own challenges. Thank you for the responses everyone :)
