BMW525xdrive problem
Hi everyone,
I'm having a frustrating issue with my 2012 F10 525 xDrive and could use some advice on where to start before I start throwing parts at it.
The Problem: Whenever I take my foot off the gas pedal (coasting/decelerating) at around 70-80 km/h (45-50 mph), the car starts to vibrate/shudder. This vibration becomes extremely noticeable, especially when I'm going downhill.
Key Details:
- The vibration strictly happens when lifting off the throttle.
- Accelerating or driving under load feels fine.
- Downhill coasting amplifies the shudder.
- Tire Info: I just replaced all 4 tires with brand new ones, but the problem persists. My current setup is 245/40/19 in the front and 275/35/19 in the rear.
If not the tires, I suspect it could be related to the transfer case needing a fluid change/adaptation, or the guibo/center support bearing wearing out.
Has anyone experienced this exact behavior or can confirm if my tire setup is the root cause? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
