I got a fever
I (old guy,in his 60s) used to have a really broad range of musical tastes. A varied palette. I prided myself on being tuned into and enjoying a lot of new stuff (lots of indie for example), in addition to the old. Not a brag. Just sayin’.
But since getting bitten by the Neil bug about three years ago….
It’s not that I listen to nothing but Neil, but I figure close to half of my music listening is devoted to his stuff.
And it’s great! I’m not complaining. His music just hits me. And keeps hitting me. Which is weird because I all but ignored him for the entirety of my music-listening life up until so recently. Kinda kicking myself now. It would have been terrific riding the wave real time. (Then again I guess I’d have had the disappointment of Landing on Water, etc. 😂)
Anyway just a random musing of an old man.
