Mind won’t shut off at night - what helps?
My Brain has terrible timing.
The entire day it’ll be quite, and then the moment my head touches the pillow it suddenly wants to analyse every decision I’ve made since 2017.
The thing that helped most was keeping a notebook next to the bed.
If a thought keeps repeating, I write it down. Doesn’t have to be neat. sometimes it’s literally:
”Email X tomorrow.”
”Need to pay electricity bill.”
”Why did I say that in yesterday‘s meeting?”
For some reason, once it’s on paper, my brain stops treating it like an emergency.
