need help fixing this error i load in and after 30 seconds i get disconnected

i just recently fired up my gen 1 crv lx after a few months of being in the shop and i noticed that the ac doesnt blow cold air anymore it used to blow really cold air i took it to my cousin who is a mechanic and said he thinks my air compressor is done or it needs oil i checked and it spins and someone also said i need to spin it manually? he also hooked a pressure gauge and put some refrigerant in it and tried to let some out and said there's nothing but air coming out and i was wondering if theres anything else i could try before i buy a whole new compressor
