Grip recommendations?

Recently purchased on ‘07 dr and it still has the original grips which have become quite hard and uncomfortable. Ive been looking for a new set of grips, but have heard people saying the old ones are a pain to get off. Do you guys recommend just getting a whole new throttle tube to mount a new set of grips on instead of trying to carve off the old ones and re use the tube? Could something like a lock on grip and tube work as well? This is my first ever bike so excuse my incompetence as I am trying to learn.

Looking for good recommendations

Just picked up my very first bike yesterday and although its a very nice bike I definitely would like to make it better suit me. I’m a decently tall guy, around 6’4, and feel slightly cramped when on the bike. Does anyone have good recommendations for a foot peg lowering kit, wider pegs, bar risers, hand guards, a comfortable set of grips, and possibly taller seat? Ideally I would like high quality parts, even better if made in America. I don’t wanna buy cheap junky parts that wont last. I would like to have the best overall experience when learning to ride and am not afraid to invest in it. Thanks

First bike ever and couldn’t be more happy

After getting outbid at an auction on a 2018 dr650 that didn’t run I was super bummed out. Thought I wouldn’t ever find a bike in my price range that wasn’t a 3 hour drive. Late one evening I was surfing marketplace and had seen that this gem was posted about a day prior. With it being only 25 minutes from home it was practically a no brainer, 2007 DR650 with 2700 miles with 2 owners within the same family and had never seen a dirt road in its life. Doesn’t even have any paint wore off on the covers or on the frame. Super excited to get my permit and start learning!

Buying a used DR650?

Good afternoon, for sale near me is a used 2018 suzuki dr650. The bike has 2600 miles on it and has been sitting for some time. Latest inspection sticker is from 2021. The carb leaked gas into the bottom end and is completely full. Will this pose any problems other can a carb rebuild and changing the oil a few times? Bike is in good shape otherwise with aftermarket parts and comes with all the original parts as well. Dont know what to offer for something like this as it would be my first bike. Any input on price offers or potential problems? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I bought this plow a few years ago along with my 460, having a hard time figuring out what model it is and how complete and original it is. Mostly looking to see if anyone knows what model it could be. My guess is a 411 but im not 100% sure any help would be greatly appreciated.
