Help me choose my first Colnago!

Hello everyone!

I have been on the hunt for a vintage Colnago to restore and ride for a while.

I need your help with a bike that is advertised in a city nearby to see if it is worth the price and has sufficient potential for a restoration. I have included all the pictures I have.

From what I gather the frame is a Colnago Master Olympic "Competition" with an Art Decor paint. Potentially from 1995. I can't make out for sure if the tubes are Columbus which worries me since there were a few "fake" Tange Colnago's produced at this period.

The groupset seems to have been updated to a Campagnolo 10 speed - I can't identify which (shouldn't it be an 8 speed max. for the 90s?). The crankset says "racing", which I haven't seen on a Campagnolo group yet. The wheels seems to have been updated so no Campi hub for me.

It is priced at $400. The idea would be to clean up the frame, and try to find the original groupset piece by piece (which could be costly).

What do you all think? And thank you so much to this community!
