Is there something going on with my gecko?
Hi, my crestie Ronin has never really enjoyed being handled. I would occasionally feed him Pangea with my finger and even more occasionally take him out of his enclosure. This due to me having other reptiles too and also being scared of him getting injured or running away.
He's never really been afraid of me though, but since the winter his mood suddenly switched. He kept running away when I opened his enclosure, frantically might I add. Like I was scaring the hell out of him even though I was just giving him his food.
He still does this now, he seems healthy, has good cover, live plants. The setup is bioactive with springtails and isopods. He gets fed for 2 days, one day without food and then 2 days again (a cycle).
So what could cause this and should I be worried?
