I just wanna play ARK with my friend and nothing works...
I don’t even know what to do anymore.
I just want to play ARK with my friend but nothing is working.
Non dedicated is literally unplayable for us. Doesn’t matter how much we change tether distance, it still lags like crazy, we get teleported around, sometimes it feels like flying sharks and random kicks from the server.
I tried everything at this point. Hamachi, port forwarding, firewall on and off, inbound and outbound rules, watched like 10 tutorials. I even tried ARK Server Manager but I just couldn’t get a dedicated server to work properly, I got lost with IPs and configs and everything after hours of trying.
Me and my friend played like 20 hours ARK in 2 days a few days ago and I got completely hooked again. It’s honestly my most nostalgic game ever, easily number 1 for me.
And then the server just disappeared and we lost everything.
Since then I’ve just been trying to get any way to play again but nothing works.
If anyone has a simple working fix for co-op or non dedicated lag I would really appreciate it.
I just wanna PLAY THE GAME with my friend.
