My settings are mostly set to Epic (draw distance is at High) and for some reason most of the dino models in the game will reduce to these low poly versions unless I'm basically in first person and right next to them. Any idea how to fix it?
While reading about the improved Araneo, I am wondering if anyone has figured out how to beat it in caves?
As a single player, I’m not sure how to do this and not get overwhelmed with webbing, especially when you have 10+ Araneo on you sometimes in these baves.
Anyone got any tips for building a good taming raft/raft base?
I found a video on YT and it was decent enough, 3x4 captains quarters and 2x4 taming pen surrounded by gates, one on each side and two in front. The problem i had with this was that it could be hard to actually get dinos inside, closing the gate could be kind of dangerous, gates in front means poor visibility and honestly it was kind of an eye sore
My questions are
How high does the taming pen need to be? 2 walls? 3? The biggest im aiming for right now is maybe a Theri
Lets say i push the pen back so that the pen is right in front of where the steering wheel is (with stone hatchframe), and separated by stone doorway, could something like a Theri and Barry damage (and sink) the raft itself? Any clever workaround on this?
Looking for a mod that will disable spawns inside the mesh. I play on Valguero in a single player world and Spinos constantly spawn inside the mesh when I want to go tame them, curious if there was a mod that fixes this. Thank you!

Genuinely exploring the sea and came across the northwest underwater cave in Ragnarok for the first time and my lvl 249 Mosasaurus with an ascendant saddle just kicked the bucket. I couldn’t even access her inventory. I saw a post from 9 years ago that this was a problem then and is still a problem now. Ended up dying to a pair of karkinos and lost a bunch of good stuff. Cue the “first time?” Meme, yes it was my first time
I have been trying to get into Astraeos for a few hours now on both my unoffical server and singleplayer world. Everytime I try to load the map it goes to a black screen then the game just closes. This only happens with this map all the others work fine. I have attached the screenshot of the crash report and I am playing it via the Xbox PC app. Can anyone help me out here I am running it on the AMD 9070xt.

Some other things I found out
You can ko tame them instead of the bug repellent passive feed
Received a hp,stam, and weight buff
They can regain stamina while climbing
Don’t receive fall damage(idk if they did before)
Does anyone else feel like they should've given every outdated creature from 2015-2017ish a TLC when are ascended released? I think Wildcard should just hire the Paleo Ark team to do them all.
