Ark has A LOT of problems that need to rightfully be called out, but one I never understood was “graphics”. This game doesn’t even have bad graphic fidelity, it’s just not AAA ultra 4k fidelity, but putting that aside because I don’t think graphic fidelity is even important, this game has a cool ass art direction which is a million times more important than ultra realistic 4k resolution. I mean seriously you can’t look at the tools, armor, and all those cool little details on the dinos and buildings and not go “hell yeah”, Ark’s aesthetic is cool and gritty, yeah it’s not ultra realistic but that doesn’t mean it looks bad, to me Ark looks way more aesthetically pleasing than most other games

I’m an anarcho-socialist, extremely so, but Im also a huge conspiracy theorist as I do not see a lot of conspiracy theories as conflicting with socialism but actually vindicating to it, so this is a genuine question. In many other leftist spaces I see ANY conspiracy theory get labeled as right wing dogwhistles and that they aren’t a big deal or aren’t “leftist” and with SOME theories I understand but most the time that rhetoric around it just makes me scratch my head.

For instance, the food and healthcare industry are in kahoots with one another in an attempt to keep you sick and addicted, buying more processed junk benefitting the food industry, and constantly seeking medical attention due to the slop that’s been sold to you, benefitting the for-profit healthcare industry. A lot would call me some alt-right conspiracy theorist for this, but to that I gotta ask, HOW? It’s a critique of capitalism through and through, exploiting the masses in the name of profit. I don’t see this as right wing but actually as MORE of a reason to dismantle capitalism.

Or democrats and republicans are on the same team. I know most of you socialists probably agree with that, but often times with less-left leftists this gets you called a fence-sitter or some right-winger in disguise.

Or let’s say, the elites are eating and raping children. Countless victims coming out about their experiences, documents confirming it, dogwhistles in entertainment and advertisements. That’s saying the elite government which is CAPITALIST, is doing evil shit to the people, pushing them through an underground MARKET (capitalism yet again, just this time illegal and in “secret”). We’re saying the wealthy elite are doing evil shit, what’s not leftist about that?

Really the only time I see conspiracy theories actually being alt-right is if it’s about some communist take-over or “Hitler was right”-esque stuff, but like 85% of the time from what I’ve seen they aren’t that and are actually more so indicative of the evils of capitalism and our imperialist government. Or maybe my feed just isn’t giving me these right wing conspiracy theories all the time cuz it knows I’m leftist. I’m not sure.

I don’t know if this is some psyop to steer us away from really seeing just how evil this system they set up is or what. I’d just like to hear y’all’s thoughts on this as fellow socialists.

I’ve been looking to buy some copper drinking ware and a jug to store and ionize some drinking water for work but everywhere I look online it comes from sketchy brands, ai photos, not pure copper, or just plated. Any places yall would recommend?

I live in the U.S. and don’t have health insurance. Last week I got tick bites, about 3 days after, the swelled up, got red, and itched like hell. Next day, rashes appeared, then one bite oozed puss when I itched it. Later that night my legs started aching. Next morning, I started spasming and twitching, it only got worse as the day progressed, I went to the doctor and they took my blood for testing but I haven’t got the results yet, they said it’s unlikely because atp it’s only been 5 days, they prescribed me 1 day of antibiotics. Next day my heart starts racing, and I saw a small bullseye rash on my inner thigh. Cut to now, my heart is racing frequently, I’ve been getting mini panic attacks, brain fog, dizziness, hungrier, and have been gasping for air. I’m afraid they won’t prescribe me anymore antibiotics, and I can’t afford extensive testing, so I’ve been wondering if there are any naturopathic remedies I can try while I try to save for professional care?

II know plenty of people have already asked for recs but all the suggestions I typically see are more akin to their hardcore stuff, which is great don’t get me wrong, but I’d like something that’s similar to their softer, melodic, more emotional stuff, like Purple and Gold & Grey
