Would you buy this 2024 ZX-6R? Looking for opinions before I drive 6+ hours
I’m looking at buying this 2024 ZX-6R ABS with 9,400 miles for $8,500. I’m attaching the seller’s description and all of the photos.
My biggest hesitation is the 2024 crankshaft bearing recall. I checked the VIN on Kawasaki’s website, and the recall status shows as Resolved. Does that give you confidence, or would you still avoid buying a 2024? Have any of you had issues after the recall was completed?
Aside from that, I’d really appreciate another set of eyes. Based on the photos and the seller’s description:
Does the bike look like it’s been well maintained?
Do you notice any signs of a crash, drop, or abuse that I might be missing?
Is $8,500 a fair price for a 2024 with 9,400 miles?
Would you buy it, or would you keep looking?
For context, I’m in NYC, so buying this means renting a truck, buying ramps and tie-downs, and driving over 6 hours each way. I want to make sure I’m making a smart purchase before committing.

Wire transfer fee
I have a PiBank high-yield savings account. Since they no longer support ACH withdrawals, I have to withdraw by wire transfer. When I wire money to my Chase checking account, I get charged a $15 incoming wire fee. Is there a workaround to avoid this fee?
