Hi, i know barely nothing about drives so i have a question.

When i was unpacking non compressed game in rar archive i noticed that it's much faster to unpack it to hdd than nvme (155gb .rar file on external nvme unpacking to internal nvme main drive with windows/hdd that i only use for storage) it took 4 hours to get it running on ssd and hdd managed to do it in only 30mins, i tried to ask gpt about that but it just hallucinates about cache and things like that, hdd stays at stable 50-100mb/s and nvme starts of strong with 200-250mb/s but drops to 2-10mb/s after 20 gigs

I would really apreciate it if somebody could explain it to me, thanks in advance
