Advice on job

Hello! For some background I am recently graduated from undergrad, and am hoping to get 2-3 years of work experience before applying to law school. I have two job offers, one is for a non profit helping recovering addicts and the other a legal assistant role.

The non profit role is the city I want to be in, close to my long time girlfriend who I’m currently doing long distance with. The legal role is in a city 3 hours away, so I would be doing long distance for another year minimum.

My question is, as someone with a below average gpa(very below average) and a likely above average lsat(pting around 170 before first test), is having legal experience on my application beneficial enough to warrant taking the legal role? It would also help with rec letters which I currently have none.

Or should I take the non profit role as it is where I want to be, and the legal role won’t sway admissions at all?

Sorry for the word salad, any clarification I can give!
