Looks like they hit their stride with funky growth season.

Sorry for the terrible camera work, but holding steady after 18 hours of manual labor makes it hard to keep steady lol.

These little guys are pretty active. Their fast movement makes me think predator, but want to learn more about them. They don’t fly or jump when I place a finger near them.

Anyone else have these, or know what they are?

Quite unexpected, but in retrospect this guy was showing weird rib growth all along. I love when a fav turns into a super fav 😍

The first two pics are from today. The third is from last week, so this is a fairly new development.

Would be happy if it kept this trait, but equally happy just having witnessed it in my own garden.

Huanu is a slow and steady grower. Beautiful blue hues in shade, forest green in the sun. Either way, super smooth and plump, with the appropriate spines. Macrogonus x Clyde is a rare cross nowadays. MG RedSpine is a classic to have around. Can likely graft it well using stock from my other tip cuts post!!!
