Ozempic as a weight loss support to diet and excerciese

I was wondering if Ozempic can be a reasonable weight loss support for someone who eats exercises and eats relatively healthy, but perhaps bit too much, snacks too late in the day or ...

I am not sure what gives, I was actually borderline anorexic half of my life to the point where people expressed concern. Then I entered my 30s and now, towards my 39th, I went from 75 (65kg at low point) to 95+ kg. It is relevant to say that I am a tall guy, around 192cm, meaning I am not obese.

However, I gained a lot of visceral fat, and it all accumulated around my belly and, while I gained muscle over years in gym and kickbox training, I still do look somewhat disproportional. I feel I started to look a bit like a buoy and people that meet me on the street ask me when did I gain all this weight 😄

I really train a lot, run 4-5 day a week, spend atleast 3 days in either a gym or Muay Thai training, I do cook at home and eat a lot of vegetable and try to prioritize protein. but I do sometimes fall off the wagon. and then eat the wagon. Every once in awhile I will go on carb-a-palooza binge, esp when traveling, but eventually get back in order.

The problem is that a dial is still stuck on 95kg and at best it falls down to 90-92 kg, much of which is water loss.

I used to drink a lot, now I try to do it only twice a week.

I feel I live really healthy and plan to keep on working on good diet and muscle gain, and I feel I am very close to being on a marginal calory deficit, so I wonder if a constant low dose of Ozempic could help push the dial a bit further and help me lose weight while not having to sacrifice much besides uneccesary snacks and larger portions that are basically emotional self-medication.

It feels that I could benefit from the slight increased callory deficit to lose the body fat while retain gaining muscle (using a very small doses) and then perhaps try to maintain that weight thru continued effort and good lifestyle. I reckon losing 10kg of fat requires much more effort then maintaining constant weight, and there are motivational benefits of seeing the body you always want to have and all the visceral fat melt away.

Is this realistic or is this completely delusional and not at all how any of this works?

GHB testing

I have been 14 months on a rehab and been tested for GHB daily, with 10 ug/ml threshold, which should be quite sensitive measurement against the baseline GHB. I was quite convinced, based on the subjective feeling the effect has something to do with it, since there is so much similarity (been a GHB addict for a few years). For me this is a pretty conclusive proof that it is not related, since any precivable ammount in blood should be detectable with this test.
