‘Too nice’ - but they still need my help
I have a few ‘friends’ how reach out to me like 9/10 times for help and I’m usually available to help them out - without feeling obligated. I’m naturally a kind hearted person and want to help and see best for others. But these same friends have in more than one occasion labeled me “too nice” - but they keep asking for my help. I have heard that statement a lot directed to me - but it’s my personality and I’m not going to trade it for anything. It gives me peace. But I find it funny that same people who rely on me call me too nice - I’m sure if I change they will say “you have changed” or something close.
Has any of you been in a situation like that and how do you handle these kind of friends who label your personality but still want you to use that personality to help them out.
