KWABEY SCAM
How I got temporary refund through chargeback after Kwabey non-delivery issue
I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone facing similar issues with online orders/refunds.
I ordered from Kwabey because their page was advertising things like “24 Hours Dispatch Guarantee,” so the brand looked genuine to me. But after payment, things became very frustrating.
One of my orders got cancelled, but instead of refunding the amount back to my original payment source, they added the refund into their wallet without my permission. The worst part was that their wallet itself was not working and constantly showing technical errors.
On top of that:
- No proper email replies
- No Instagram replies
- Calls on their support numbers were mostly unanswered
After waiting around 30–45 days and still not receiving any proper resolution, refund, or response from the merchant, I finally decided to file a chargeback/dispute through my bank for “non-delivery of product.”
First, I called bank customer care and clearly told them:
“I want to file a dispute/chargeback for non-delivery.”
Honestly, many customer care agents themselves don’t properly understand chargebacks, so a lot of time got wasted on calls and transfers.
After that, I directly mailed my bank with proper proofs:
- Order screenshots
- Cancellation screenshots
- Non-delivery proof
- Unanswered emails/messages
- Wallet technical error screenshots
Within around 2–3 days, the bank gave me a temporary credit/refund of ₹999 in my account while the investigation continued.
The bank told me the final confirmation can take around 90–120 days because the merchant gets a chance to submit delivery proof.
So if anyone is stuck in a similar situation:
- Keep screenshots of everything
- Don’t rely only on calls
- Send proper emails
- Clearly mention “non-delivery dispute/chargeback”
If the merchant cannot provide valid delivery proof, the chargeback can get confirmed permanently.
Hope this helps someone.
