Selena Marchand and her ageist "rules"

Anyone familiar with Selena Marchand (selenamup)? Her latest thing is telling women over 40 how they need to do their makeup and skincare. It's rubbing me the wrong way because she doesn't caveat it, it's literally "if you are over 40, you must do your makeup like this. We aren't doing X,Y,Z anymore." Um... according to whom, darling? She's never been a creative MUA (her bridal makeup looks so dry and beige to me, sorry) but this feels really boring and a bit ageist. More power to people of all ages having fun and experimenting with makeup ♥️

CNN interviewed Lana Isa

Lana Isa was interviewed by CNN for a story on "loneliness influencers". Thoughts on her? I don't engage with her content as it seems really repetitive with the air fryer foods and watching TV alone on her couch. They also interviewed a British influencer, DramaFreeDiaries, who I am more familiar with and who left an abusive marriage and addiction to start over in her 40s. Meanwhile Lana is in her early twenties and mentioned "healing from things that happened in the past" - what's her backstory?

Morgan Stewart Robbery

Obviously being robbed is a violation and scary, but this quote made me laugh. “I saw the video of them climbing over my gate in the middle of the day. And they had six bags on each arm, and they tossed them over the gate onto the driveway. I’m like, ‘You are so disrespectful. Hop politely because you’ve just scratched the Box Kelly I just got.’ It was literally just like trash on the floor.”

Also for someone who has millions of dollars of stuff, wouldn't you want better security than someone in an SUV parked outside? That's like the bare minimum. He fell asleep so that's why the robbery was able to happen ☠️
