Would Orsted be able to react in this situation?

If A-Train ran up to him like he did with Homelander here, would Orsted be able to react (sorta like how Superman did the Flash in the JL movie)? It’s said that he’s far slower than Arumanfi on foot, but that dude is lightspeed, so I’m wondering how fast Orsted could still be. Would he be able to interact with actual speedsters rather than solely swordsmen who swing fast? There’s a fine line in how to deal with those 2 speeds, with swordsmen being much easier due to limited mobility/movement and good speed from their attacks while fixed in one spot.

Would someone’s mana pool be reduced if they lost a body part?

Now it may sound dumb on the surface, but hear me out.

Mana is probably contained in specifically 1 of these 3 ways:

  1. It is stored in the soul, and when a mage wants to use it, a connection between mana circuits and the soul is made to draw out mana.

  2. It is stored in 1 part of the body, perhaps a mana-producing organ. This would be similar to JJK, how Cursed Energy pools are stored in the stomach/gut area. Satoru Gojo being cleaved in half horizontally from his stomach/gut area meant it was wraps for him to use RCT for healing, as his Cursed Energy pool was cut off completely anyway.

  3. It is flowing around the whole body at all times, through mana circuits that go around a person’s entire body. This would be similar to Star Wars, how the total latent power of a Force user is quantified via their Midichlorian count, which is essentially the same as total mana pool. Anakin Skywalker’s Midichlorian count was greatly reduced after the battle with Obi-Wan on Mustafar, as he lost both his arms and both his legs. As these body parts contained Midichlorian cells, his total latent power with the Force was effectively reduced by quite a large amount.

From how the anime visualises things, it seems mana is stored near the feat and head and pools into the hands to he outputted, tho it could also be drawn from other parts of the body. Is it possible that cutting off body parts results in mana pool being reduced. Especially, say, someone’s legs?

Does a God-level Swordsman have the same attack power as a God-level magic spell?

I remember Rudeus saying a Ghislaine or Ruijerd level fighter would be needed to pierce Badigadi’s battle aura, as they’re King-level or above (in swordsman/warrior terms), and Badigadi’s battle aura was previously specified to be needing a King-level or above offensive magic spell.

I’m just wondering, does that apply to every tier then?

North, Water and Sword Saint = Saint-level offensive spell
North, Water and Sword God = God-level offensive spell
Etc

With how it was described for Badi, you’d think this is how the logic works, but I simply can’t imagine Sword God’s power being equivalent to environment-altering destructive spells, can you?

Can Rudeus use 2 schools of magic with 1 hand in the LN?

I’m not 100% on this specific thing since it’s been a while since the last reread, but I somewhat recall it being established that only 1 school of magic could be used per hand, and to combine 2 you’d cast with both hands. IIRC, this might’ve been brought up in TP2 against Orsted in some capacity.

Anyone who knows, please clarify. The anime shows him doing so; this moment in the LN doesn’t specify.

Ruijerd vs Homelander [The Boys S5 spoilers]

Now that The Boys has finally ended, do you see Ruijerd taking on Homelander in a straight fight?

I personally lean with option 3, as mana flowing around the body makes most sense. It would correlate with how Cid cut off some of his mana circuits in his body to display his total mana pool as lower than it actually is (Volume 5). Option 1 would make the least sense as it would mean people would be invisible to mana radars/senses unless they’re actively calling on magic, but that would make the former skill, as well as the skill of suppressing one’s mana to conceal their presence, redundant.

Was Laplace’s curse of fear random?

What I mean to ask is, did Demon God Laplace receive his curse of fear at birth randomly, just like any other cursed or blessed child, or was it due to some fuckery with the reincarnation art? I don’t think it’s ever explicitly mentioned, though I haven’t reread the LN in a bit and haven’t read the WN. Would his curse of fear transfer over to his next life when he’s reborn in the future (for the 2nd war)?

We know with Orsted it isn’t just a cursed/blessed child situation, as it was due to the fear/hate, inscribed into all humans, of the Dragon God after what he did in ODT, and the same hate affected Orsted.

Cid Kagenou (TEIS) vs Dracule Mihawk (OP)

Fight to the death. Cid with both anime and LN feats, Mihawk with both anime and manga feats (if that helps at all). Which swordsman takes it?

Basically, I plan to read all the LNs too. Would be my first time watching the anime. My question is, would reading each LN associated/adapted by each different anime of the series one by one be a good way to go? For example, I watch Bakemonogatari, then read the volumes of Bakemonogatari -> after that, I watch Kizumonogatari movies, then read the volume of Kizumonogatari….and so on with each anime and its LNs in order.

Or would that not be sensible? Should I do the above or just watch the animes in order in go, and read the LNs in order at another time?

As the title says. I’ve heard they work for Ratatoskr, but still. Isn’t it a little careless letting your middle school age daughter and HS age son live by themselves without their parents? And why are they never seen anyway?

It can’t be 100%, since they still have access to some level of power even after being sealed. How much they have seems to depend on their mood levels, but it is never 0% at a base even with their mood levels being fully content.

It would have to be something like 50-50, right? Mio absorbed each spirit, but Ike still thought the power within Shido from the spirits would prove important in facing off with Mio after, so it can’t be an insignificant amount.

I’ve seen most online say 30, but I don’t see how that’d make sense timeline-wise. If Shido is 16-17, there’d be 14ish year time gap between Shinji dying and Shido being born. I don’t think it was portrayed that way - seemed like Mio was impregnated immediately upon infusing Shinji’s essence into her. Correct me if I’m wrong

From what I understood, Shinji died and was reincarnated into Mio’s womb, then she gave birth to his new body (which looked essentially the exact same as the last one), except he restarted as a baby. Who raised him from birth, if not Mio? Was he adopted by the Itsuka family when he was a baby/toddler?
