I unplugged my USB without ejecting, and now it’s inaccessible

I think I finally learned this lesson the hard way. I unplugged my USB without ejecting it, and now I can’t open it at all.

The thing is, I'm kind of lazy about this. I used to just pull the USB out without clicking “Safely Remove,” and nothing ever went wrong. But to be fair, I usually waited until all was done before unplugging it.

But this time was different. I completely forgot that a file on the USB was still open when I pulled it out.

Has anyone fixed a USB after this kind of issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TIL that a phone has more computing power than all of NASA had combined when they sent Apollo 11 to the Moon in 1969. The guidance computer on that mission ran at 2.048MHz. Your budget Android is running at 2+ GHz. We sent humans to the moon with basically a calculator.
