Sufra Time is not simply dinner. It’s a journey—and a discovery of just how surprisingly close Arabia and Appalachia can be.
Hosted at Mocha Box Coffeehouse in Asheville, Sufra Time is an immersive, interactive cultural dinner experience bringing the people, flavors, stories, history, humor, and extraordinary landscapes of Arabia to life.
Across eight distinct experiences, guests explore the Birth of Coffee, the ancient Incense Road, the Queen of Sheba, Arabian Food, Architecture, Tribal Culture, Desert Living & Geology, and the otherworldly island of Socotra. Along the way, surprising connections between Arabian and Appalachian culture, history, geography, hospitality, food, and community reveal that these seemingly distant worlds share more than we might expect.
Each evening combines authentic food, visual storytelling, fascinating history, conversation, humor, and audience participation.
